Was mowing the lawns and taking photos of bald eagle on the beach when we rocked up. Looked to only have 3 sites available with partial hookup. Mostly permanent or townies that visit from Tupperlake. Great site right on the beach, good swimming and clean amenities. Playground got too hot early with no shade. ~20 mins to Ampersand Mountain hike - HIGHLY recommend this hike!Would stay again!

Nice Campground, one of very few in this area of the Adirondacks with hookups. Reasonable pricing and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

We called for a reservation, spoke to the caretaker and he is a pretty decent guy. There aren't very many campgrounds in the Adirondacks that have full hook up's, this place does. Easy access, roads are pretty good, the spacing between the sites can be small depending on your site. There are seasonal sites there too which take up most of the sites on the water as there are three rows on Little Wolf Pond, which is more like a lake. There is a boat launch and a huge beach area, small playground in good shape. The park is owned by the town of Tupper Lake, the caretaker and his wife are there all five months it is open. There are showers (pay) bathrooms and a concession stand during the busiest time. Tupper Lake is right down the road and if you need anything RV related, Tupper Lake Aubuchon Hardware is the place to go. There are restaurants downtown and Tupper Lake is the home of the Wild Center. Saranac Lake, Lake Placid are about 40 minutes away, Long Lake, Blue Mountain Lake is about 40 minutes the other way. A great spot to set up base camp if you are exploring the ADK and want/require full hook up's.

Not much separation between sites. The lucky ones get beachfront sites with unobstructed views; we were in the second row. The beach was closed for the season when we were there; the campground is open May- September and an on-site caretaker is there the entire five months. Gorgeous sunsets. Coin-operated showers($1 for approximately 15 minutes)– did not use so cannot say how they were. Playground. Clean restroom but the women's only had one operable stall. Although there was a hot water spigot, I was not able to coax any hot(or even warm) water out of it. No defined quiet hours but it was very quiet by 8:30 pm.

It's on Tupper Lake and has a swimming beach. Town of Tupper lake runs the camp and the town has plenty of stores and restaurants. Very nice spot to use as a base for Adirondack exploring. The real benefit is the full hook ups as the other state parks in the area are all dry camping for the same money.
Verizon had all the bars with no booster or antenna.
