Stayed here for a week while attending a family wedding. Small (30 sites). Quiet. (Only about half full). Clean bathhouse with laundry. Large private sites. Mostly shaded. Plenty of room. We stayed here in our 38’ Class A pulling a Jeep. Clean double dump station. Decent cell coverage.

This small, quiet campground has great walking trials, very Florida wildlife and provides just enough amenity for a classic Florida camping experience.
There are two sections: a loop with water and 30A/50A designed for RVs and an even smaller loop designed for those camping with horses. Equestrian sites are reserved for campers with horses unless there are no other campsites available, which is typically the case. All sites are reservable and you will almost certainly need to make a reservation in order to stay at this park.
We have a 34' 5th wheel and a large truck with a poor turning radius (F350 dually) and did have to have our neighbor across the street move their truck so we could squeak into our site. Once we were in the experience was mostly great! Our only complaint is that the bathhouse seemed to back up with grey water daily which would flood the small trail from our site to the bathhouse and stunk. This lasted for maybe 20 minutes each day.
The bathhouse is clean, showers are hot, and there are two washers/dryers (although one of each was out of order during our stay) that require quarters for use.
My favorite part of this campground were seeing armadillos while walking the trails at dusk and also having a possum visit our grill and give it a good inspection. The trail here are nice. There is also a really nice canoe/kayak launch from the picnic area.
We were able to use our Starlink here with a dropouts every ~10 minutes due to tree coverage.

We really enjoyed this state park and its trails wish we were able to stay longer. We saw wildlife, including a large turtle digging a hole close to our RV site. I don't remember the bars (this is a delayed review from last year) but my husband and I worked (including video calls) using ATT & Verizon while we were here without a problem.

Guy next to us tried parking a huge long trailer and truck and volunteer had to get in his rig to park it and I’m shocked he let him stay—way too big for site but volunteer went above and beyond to help. Lots of dogs but that was ok. Washer/dryer works good (takes quarters) and unusual to see so many true campers in tents.internet was good enough to stream and can pick up lots of tv stations. Not close to any store so bring supplies. Sites are level and private

Smaller- Single Loop style campground. Our MH is a 37' single axle class A. I had no problems navigating the roads & tree limbs and backing into our site #9 (However a larger Diesel unit with a tag/axle came in around dusk and spent more time in the brush than the road getting in & out of his site). The bathroom & showers were clean with good water pressure but little or no hot water. When I went for the showers the men's room was being cleaned and the lady directed me to the family Restroom/Shower which had tons of hot water but my wife had none at all in the women's showers. I really didn't see any bad sites, all looked level with plenty of vegetation between sites and packed sandy surfaces except for the concrete ADA site. My only issue with our site #9 is that the power & water pedestals were at the front of the site. If you back in too deep your utilities won't reach. (I carry an extra 30' power cord & drinking water hose for just that reason). Like most State Parks in Florida, there is plenty of hiking & biking trails, however, trails marked for bikes may have deep loose sand which makes steering & traction interesting in spots. Didn't use the laundry machines but they looked fairly new.

It's a small park with just one small loop, so can be difficult to snag a site. But it's also very quiet and you have lots of separation from your neighbors.
We loved exploring the many trials in this park both on foot and by bike. Many of the trails however are multi-use and heavily used by equestrians. While we didn't have any problem with crowding, it does result in pretty bumpy/muddy/sandy trails at times from all of the horses.
We had ample cellular data speed on both AT&T and Verizon, and happy worked remotely in-between many trail adventures.
