Does anyone know if Lazydays RV Resort restricts entry based on RV type? That is, are truck campers allowed?

There are a lot of low-hanging trees, so big rigs beware.
We got to the site they assigned us and it was too small. Our camper is 40’4”. You have to back up as far as you can in the sites so you can park your vehicle perpendicular to your camper. We couldn’t back up far enough to even fit our camper in the site bc the camper directly behind the site was backed so far. Plus, the low hanging trees and other vehicles parked on the roadway made it very difficult to get into the spot.
Luckily, the office assigned us a new site & we fit just fine. Except we had to buy an extension to our sewer hose so it could reach bc the access point was literally at the rear of the site.
There is ZERO wifi at the sites. So hopefully you have unlimited data or an internet setup.
The pool was nice once it warmed up, otherwise the hot tub was the main attraction.

There is a restaurant/bar on the property. This was a positive & negative for us. The food & drinks were ok. They over serve their guests who should be cut off. One of their patrons wandered over to the hot tub and proceeded to threaten a friend with us before stealing his belongings and smiling about it. The bartender was asked to call security and she came out of the bar saying, “I think he took some mushrooms”. “Security” took their sweet time & wouldn’t even speak to us ‘because they have cameras’.
The day we were checking out, we tried to stop at the restaurant to grab a quick bite. After standing at the bar waiting for about 10 or so minutes without either bartender acknowledging us, and watching one of the bartenders snap at someone who stopped at the window to ask about her friend pickles taking 25 minutes…she then proceeded to complain about the customer in front of us and a couple sitting at the bar. I thought this was so classless and I didn’t want to inconvenience them by ordering anything so we walked out.
Literally the only plus for this campground for us was that it was close to where our family lives. Outside of that, it was a pretty crappy experience.

The campground (CG) is easy to find off I-4 with an easy left turn past the interstate overpass. We checked in at the gate, not the registration building. The campground (CG) is easy to find off I-4 with an easy left turn past the interstate overpass. We checked in at the gate, not the registration building. We had to go back to registration after we set up to get our military discount. We drove straight down Everglades Ave to back-in site 244. Sites sit 90 degrees to the narrow street, so backing can be tricky, especially with all the vehicles parked along the road perpendicular to the pad entrance. Site 244 was a good choice as the entrance road/Everglades runs straight into the site, plus it's at the end of the CG with no one behind us. We reserved one of the larger sites, which was big enough for our 39 5th wheel, but we had to disconnect as our F450 was in the road. Water and electric were located in the middle of the pad. The sewer was at the end of the pad, and we needed right at 20 feet of hose. The CG has cable, and we received 59 channels. You also get a lot of OTA channels, and we could have used satellite. We got 4 bars on Verizon. Water pressure was above 60 psi, so we needed a reducer. Lazydays was a true resort with a lot of amenities, including an on-property restaurant. However, the CG is old and needs to be upgraded to better accommodate today's larger rigs. According to their website, they will close down on 1 April 2023 for renovations. There was a rumor going around that Lazydays sold the CG, and it will be under new ownership after it opens back up.

Spots are tiny and the roads are extremely tight. There is no extra room for vehicles so everyone parallel parks in front of their spot, leaving the roads very narrow. Spots are tiny and the roads are extremely tight. There is no extra room for vehicles so everyone parallel parks in front of their spot, leaving the roads very narrow. During our 3 night stay, multiple people had to get out and knock on people’s doors to ask them to move their vehicles because they simply couldn’t get in to the spot. Our concrete spot wasn’t even level, had to use our anderson chocks. It did seem to have a nice pool and hot tub, fenced in dog areas, laundry and a fitness room, but we didn’t use any because it was all very small and busy. Just not a resort feel, but is convenient if you’re nearby for the RV dealerships. All in all, we would look elsewhere next time we came to this area.

We always enjoy this campground. There is a restaurant/bar on site. The asphalt full hookup sites are spacious enough for every type of rig. People park their tow vehicles parallel to the roadways so they are out go the way. We never have an issue getting a site, we booked 2 days before New Year’s and they were able to get us in. The pool and hot tub are awesome. Ybor and other area attractions are nearby.

We wanted to like it here, but the sites are so crammed together and our large fifth wheel could barely fit. The sites leave no room for vehicle parking, so everyone is parked on the road which makes it even tighter for large RVs. The sites leave no room for vehicle parking, so everyone is parked on the road which makes it even tighter for large RVs. We picked our site online because of its proximity to the playground and they said they wouldn’t honor that and crammed us all the way in the back instead. The site they reassigned us to had occupants so they had to move us again. Just a headache of an experience. There is no wifi anywhere in the park except the front office.. other than that good luck getting signal.
They do have cable which was nice and the laundry room was very clean and big. They also did refund our money when we had to leave early, so that was greatly appreciated. This wouldn’t be my first choice, but I’d stay again in a pinch.

Staff was very nice! We did get breakfast coupons for a complimentary breakfast over in the sales building. Clean campground! Lots of people with pets! Spots are closer together but we didn’t have a problem backing into our spot 5 mainly because we didn’t have a row of RVs across from us. Our last night there was some kids making a ton of noise at the playground around 1 am. Not the Campground's fault but seeing the security booth was near by I wonder if anything was ever said.

Resort???? I don't think so. Very over priced. Very tight sights. We were told not to park our tow vehicle in the road or the grass. I was able to back the truck in but it was under our awning with no room to spare. NO WIFI at camp site but if you walked up to the buildings you could get wifi. Cable was terrible. I even unhooked cable and just used antenna and had several more channels. They do have a swimming pool and several other things for the kids tp do. Plus there is a restaurant in the campground. There was a lot if road noise but couldn't hear to much of it while in the camper. I think if they did not advertise it as a resort it would have been different.

Great campground! Roomy site- we were right near the pool. Pool and hot tub were awesome. Folks of all ages - kids to seniors. Fun little restaurant with eat in or take out. Dog park and wash, playground. Free breakfast at the Front Porch restaurant at the ( huge) dealership. Easy to get to.
We’ll be back!

Located right on the Lazy Days,property, free breakfast, awesome pool, smooth and courteous reservation and check in. Did I mention the on site restaurant Exit 10 and also the spotless and well appointed showers?
Good value for the money. Been stopping by here for last 20 years. I'll be back.
