At one time I bet this place was awesome, but now it’s run down and catered to people that live there full time. Site was level, easy enough in and out. Closest town is 20 minutes away.

It's mainly seasonals who are obviously all local, and all clearly have been coming for years. It has a little pool, a catch-and-release fishing pond, a nice big field for kids to romp, a slightly worn basketball court. It's really sort of a summer camp. And since it was the weekend it was bustling. We just needed a one night stay on our way through Indiana to Wisconsin, and this was one of the few options available over the weekend. The non-seasonal site that we were in was water and electric only. Given it's remoteness, you can't do a quick dash into town in case you forget something so if you're going to be there for more than a couple of days, keep that in mind.
Pros:
Pleasant landscape.
Fishing pond.
Well maintained pool.
Kid's activities, at least on the weekends.
Very friendly people -- the part we enjoyed most.
Goats you can pet! And plump chickens roaming around which we found charming.
Cons:
It's out in the middle of nowhere amid large scale ag operations.
Sandwiched between a very busy highway and a corn field. So, road noise.
The roads are unpaved and everyone buzzes about in golf carts so it's very dusty.
The roads are also narrow, which made backing our 39' toy hauler in quite challenging. We had help from the aforementioned friendly people.
When we checked in we were informed our site was 60' long. It most definitely was not. We barely fit and had to park the truck elsewhere.

One section is dedicated to (well-maintained) long-term sites. We stayed in Site 81, which is on the very end next to the dog run. Shore water and power were fine, but WiFi didn't reach that far. Showers had pretty wimpy water pressure and were just warm enough to get the job done. The biggest detractor is the road noise from the 4-lane highway just 100 yards away. For that reason, we wouldn't visit again.

A LOT of amenities! Too many to name all of them but I’ll try:
-dog run with toys
-fishing pond
-playground
-tether ball (yes, for reals!)
-soccer field/valley ball area
-swimming pool
-little petting zoo
Probably more that I’m not mentioning but a great facility.
They had laundry, showers, and flushing toilets.
Did I mention how friendly the people were?
A lot of seasonal and full time RV’s in the park, well maintained though!
Definitely a great spot to stop if you are in the area.
Only issues we had was the fire pit was rather small, and it’s not far off the highway and a railway. so theres a bit of noise but not bad.
Austin would stay here again

This is a Passport America campground, so the rate was great! We only stayed overnight, and we had a pull thru FHU site that was pretty level. The spaces weren't too close. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms. The laundry room was clean and had 2 washers and 2 dryers for reasonable cost. We did have a picnic table and fire ring and the office did sell firewood. There was a nice playground and game room. They also had a pond for fishing. There was some train noise.

The couple who own and operate are very friendly and really low-key. There were events for the entire week if the 4th and the fireworks show would put most larger city displays to shame - it was amazing. We stayed for a week and the central location allowed us to visit family in Laporte, Lake Michigan, and Chicago. We loved this place and will stay here in years to come.
