Great spot. One of the local Visitor Info guides told us about this place when we asked about dispersed camping. Said it’s popular with locals. And I would agree. Gorgeous lake with dock. Sites are nice and mainly separated. The area where you first come in could hold larger groups. Lots for turn around. A larger fifth wheel was in one of the spots. It’s was pretty close to heaven on earth. Fire rings are each spot with picnic tables. A couple of pit toilets spaced throughout. Trash & recycling available. Nice, clean, and well kept for a free spot!

Arrived on an early June evening just before dark for an overnighter on my way east, and popped right into a spot! Only 4 other sites taken when I got there. Beautiful quiet sites with fire pits. No hookups, and not good for big rigs. The road in is quite rough, plenty of potholes, but worth it. Clean and well maintained. I’ll be back!

There is a sign if you are going east on RT 16. small one lane paved road into the campground. A few of the sites will accommodate large rigs. Great lake for kayaking & fishing. There are numersous trails within 30-45 minutes. The campground is 30 minutes from McBride. The best part is there is no nightly fee!

Thank you Campendium for alerting us to this site. Even using GPS I almost missed the turn, but wow, what a find! Sunday afternoon only 3 sites taken. We stopped on the first loop right on the water, but there are some great sites a little further down the road. Tables and fire pits, no water or trash. Pit toilets.

Dry camping around a small peaceful lake. Monday night in June and we we one of four campers.
As everyone has said tricky to find and if you are westbound the road isn't obvious. Narrow single lane. Worth it once you're set up.

IF you don’t miss the turn into this area, you will be impressed! One gorgeous site right on the lake.. several along the lake. Most are very large and reasonably level. Very peaceful and quiet! Great spot!!

This is a picturesque area - sites are in the forest, some with lake views. This was late in the season, so only 2 other campers were here, though there are probably 20 sites. There is a steep road down to the lake but then it’s a very pretty area with tables & fire pits at most well defined sites in the forest. Some are on the lake. There are 2 pit toilets, clean with toilet paper. A few sites are directly in front of as you come down the hill. There is a dock & even a raft to swim to. There is a good road that goes off to the left & loops back with more sites. It is pretty easy to get into most sites even with a trailer, there are back in sites with good clearance. Very clean. Great views of the lake & nearby mountains- with snow on them when we were here September 23.
