“Friendly people and nice property, but cell service was unstable”

Lancaster Camp Ground is a beautiful, old Methodist summer camp. The staff, fellow campers, and those living in the cottages are all very friendly and kind. Our site was the usual RV park size with a picnic table and campfire ring provided. Site 1 was the ADA site on the end so we had more patio space than most.
Verizon and ATT cell service is unstable and I found it impossible to participate in a work-related Zoom call and had to park outside a local Panera to use their WiFi. This is the only reason we wouldn't likely camp here again.
As campers, you have free access to the small laundry room, unheated swimming pool, Sunday morning church services, and vespers. The camp office allows you to have mail and packages sent to office. Just call to check the address they want you to use.
There are a few "no car" access streets and it's fun to walk around and look at the 1800s-style tiny home cottages. The campground is conveniently located within 2 miles of many shops and restaurants while allowing you to feel as if you are in the country.
Fairfield County has several covered bridges within a 20-minute drive of the park and some nice public parklands for hiking and biking.

A great camp site that is part of a very old Methodist Church campground and a new Church near the campsites. This campground was formed in 1878 and has a large number of cottages that are primarily used in the summer time also. There are only 24 RV sites, all back-ins with electric and water service. For sewer service they have free pump outs on Tuesday and Fridays and also have a dump station. A fenced area for dogs. Passport America rate for Monday-Thursday is $15. Friday-Sunday is $30 or $150 for a week. Camp sites are level gravel surface, nice shade and open to a southern exposure for campers with satellite TV. It is only about 15 miles from Columbus. There is shopping, restaurants and a shopping mall within 2 miles. There is a museum on the property with a lot of history about the campground. The area is very quiet, local police watch the area. The only noise is from a locomotive engine you can hear once or twice a day delivering materials to a Anchor Hocking glass plant, but no air horns. The railroad is located in a valley below the campground. There are bike and hiking trails in the campground. During the summer they have band camp for local schools and you may be able to hear concerts. Check-in is done at the campground hosts RV. Reservations are suggested. About half of the sites had pipeline construction workers this year, should be wrapped up by fall.
