Does anyone know if the electric sites at North Shore Bay Campground also have water hookups? Thanks!

The fire pits were a wonderful touch. The Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The Host was on-site if any questions and to buy firewood; and seeing the “park police” drive by felt very secure.
The c.g. itself is conveniently located, away from the town congestion, yet close to everything. I would definitely stay here again

Lucky to grab a site online for 4 nights just before Independence Day weekend. Beautiful views in site 12 but facing west meant the wind came directly at our door, and it was fierce at times. Our electric only, blacktop site was not level front to back but our 5th wheel auto level did fine. Potable water can be had on the way in at the dump. Quiet at night. Fire pit and concrete table on gravel site. A few trees but not much shade. Pit toilets but no showers (not that we needed either). Firewood available by donation on the honor system.
Problem here as we see in many states is that non-residents are charged much more than residents. Site fee $18 ($8 more than resident) + $10 electric charge + $12 daily entrance fee (almost double the resident rate) so the state park rate is about the same as a full hookup site at some RV parks! While sites are more spaced out, the non-resident extra fees would have us rethink staying here again.
Our 2-3 bar Verizon struggled in site 12.
Reservation says checkout is 11, check-in is 3:00 but we were allowed to checkin at 1:00 and we saw rigs coming in shortly after 11 the day we left (4th of July).

Clean, traffic noise surprisingly low considering proximity to the highway. Not much shade so your solar will be fine.

Really simple. Had a great view of the lake. Though it was almost full, the spots are placed far enough from each other that you have a little sense of privacy. The other 14 do not. Water and dump were shut off for the season. After Oct 1 you can’t reserve a spot. It’s first come first served. We didn’t have any problems getting a site. In fact for a couple nights we were one of two campers. Great view of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. It was a great base camp for us while we spent four days in Yellowstone.

We so much enjoyed our stay here. The staff was sooo friendly. We got here early at 11:00 so we could explore Cody all day. Came back to enjoy sitting by the water with great views. The flies were a bit annoying so have a zapper with you. We were a little bummed that we missed the Rodeo by 2 days but there was so much else to see.

We stayed here and drive in to Yellowstone to explore, and we loved it!! Not quite sure why there was never anyone out on the lake our entire stay here because the water was absolutely gorgeous! I had read other reviews say they offered to stay here than deal with trying to get in to Yellowstone and I’m glad we did the same. It was just gorgeous at this CG! I will warn that the Wyoming winds were a bit much at times, so be prepared for that. We had water hookup, were able to run our generator until 10 pm if needed, there was a dump site nearby, and there was firewood available next to the camp host. We actually stayed at site 11 first, which is more towards the front and close to the fire wood, it is also very close to the camp host and closer to the dump site. We then moved to site 28 on day 3, and we enjoyed that loop a bit better. It seemed just a bit quieter & chill, but with the direction our trailer faced in that spot we did notice the winds a bit more.

We live on the other side of the reservoir from the campground and I wanted to spend a few nights by myself while husband was working the overnight shifts to get more familiar with the new TT. We have all the same mountain views from home just at different angles.
I didn't add the nightly rate as we have the resident annual passes for both day use & camping fees, thus the only cost we pay is the booking fee(s) throughout the year.
Spectacular views of Cedar, Rattlesnake, Carter, Sheep, and Trout Peak Mountains. Great "breeze" off the BB reservoir (aka, wind most days)
Fire ban in effect but campfires were allowed still. Winds were too strong most nights I stayed so I never even considered one. Others around me had them most of the nights.
Prefer off grid camping but this CG is super close to home and is very clean, park hosts & folks @ the gate are great. Firewood available for a donation. An employee comes through every morning to check on sites being vacated prior to next guests arrival. Did not use the restrooms so can't comment on those. Highway noise is not bad at all. 3 loops total, loop A is the only one with electric/water with 7 sites. Loops B & C are both dry camping only. All sites are gravel/dirt, most are drive through loops just off the road(s).
With the "breeze" one afternoon I watched 2 pop up shelters get wrecked. Don't leave fully opened if you are heading out for the day and want to be sure it will be leaving with you when you leave.

We messed up and thought we were to leave on the 26th but it was supposed to be the 25th. Late that evening 4 people showed up and we realized our mistake. They had tents and told us we could share the site which was huge. We left very early the next day and gave them $20 for being so generous. We got an hour away and got a call from the CG. They wanted us to pay $30 for the night. We had the WY State Park Pass so it would only have been 17. They wanted $ for a site that was already paid for. We were traveling through Yellowstone and cell service was poor. When we did get it we sent a text telling them what we thought about us paying. We would never come to WY state parks. For out of state people we feel the fee is high for no electricity. If they want out of state people to visit the cost should be less. That is our opinion.
The dump station and boat launch were convenient.
Someone stole our tandem kayak, we saw lots of kayaks on the beach and they were very strict about checking your pass so we let our guard down. When we told the host he said oh well your lucky they didn’t let the air out!!!!!
Don’t miss the museum 5 museums in one and if you have 4 wheel drive take a day and go to Kirwin. If you hike take a hike there, it was a lot cooler and had spectacular mountains. It is a ghost town that was a gold and silver mine the forest service person in town was full of tips and hikes.
