I wanted something close to Bulleit and the other park that's even closer seemed over-priced. The RV sites are all along in a straight row extremely close to each other. The pads are tiny, so everyone just parks half way out in the main driving area. The sites back up towards the lake, which was pretty. The tent sites are actually really nice! Spread out enough and lakeside. The dumpstation is a joke - wrong side, no place to turn around, so we skipped it. The good - gorgeous scenery around the lake - we had a beautiful sunset after a big rainstorm.

New electric and water hookups and picnic tables. I don’t like how the sites line up with the tables, but most campgrounds have it wrong (picnic table should be on door side of the rv, not the other side).
Downsides: the bath house was gross and I’m a single guy. It could use paint and some updating. I couldn’t shower in there but the sink did have very hot water. The dump station is the dumbest I have ever seen. There is room to do it right, but I couldn’t figure out a way to use it without trashing the grass (it just rained) or blocking the road. They have the room to put in a gravel road so the dump site is on the dump side of RVs. As it is the dump stuff is ten feet into the grass on the non dump side when you are leaving and they put concrete parking barriers to keep you from driving passed it. It was designed by someone who has never seen an RV or hates RVs and doesn’t want them to dump there.
Really great potential. Spend some money on paint, fix the broken plumbing, fix the missing electrical plates, pour some gravel. It’s not asking a lot.

Nice view of lake and right next to boat ramp. Picnic tables on wrong side of sites, bathrooms were not clean or well maintained and golf cart driven by host was extremely noisy. Overall decent site for price.

We were pleasantly surprised. Our spot along the water was beautiful. Aside from the noises of nature, and the distance to the facilities, this was a great place to stay! Dan was helpful and friendly, on the phone and in person. I marked this as a favorite!

As others have posted, the sites are very close to each other and the pads are quite short. We had friendly neighbors, who we enjoyed. Behind the campers there was a nice open area that was shared fishing/water access. It felt like a city park that people mostly enjoyed for fishing… nothing wrong with that, but it was just different than we expected when booking a lake front spot as it is definitely not swimming water. Also, we arrived to a very full garbage can overloaded with flies at our site, so that was a bit unpleasant. We moved the garbage can away and that helped, but the flies still made eating outside less enjoyable. The water and electric hook up were fine, we did not look for the dump station so we can not comment on that.

There was a lot of traffic in and out, and Friday there was a company picnic in the campground pavilion directly behind our trailer and they parked us in. Friday there was some sort of a school event with a schools worth of kids running around the park.
These are not complaints just something to be aware of.
The camp host was super nice and seemed genuinely glad to see us.
As noted there was one long term trailer down near the boat ramp.
