“Undesirable!”

We are visiting friends and decided to check out some places if we bring our RV next time.
Driving through Lake San Marino RV Resort we found this place unattractive, crowded, run-down, with many many full time people living there in mobile homes. Sorry we won’t be back!

We arrived late (around 8pm) but a nice welcome package was available for us in the mailbox, including a site map.
There was major construction going on about 1/2 mile away, into the wee hours, our air conditioner drowned that out sufficiently. Construction started about 9pm.
There is plenty of room here for those of us who have last minute plans. Everyone else was full, but we would definitely stay here again.
LBMaggie would stay here again

I wish I had remembered to take a photo of this space. It was a joke to get in and out of. We only have 24’ travel trailer and we were afraid we were going to get stuck once we finally got into our space. However, the neighbors were friendly, as was the office lady. This is more of a resident trailer park than a campground, but it worked for our short stay. Roads are narrow and spaces are grass. Full hookups with good powers and water pressure. Close to many sights and in a safe neighborhood. Would not recommend for big rigs who don’t call ahead to ensure a large turning radius.
We didn’t use any amenities, so I can’t report on those, but from a distance they looked nice.)
(This is a 55+ community where families with children under 18 are allowed to stay for two weeks or less. Also, Good Sam discount not accepted in Jan and Feb.)

Chose this park to be close to a work conference (5 miles away). The review from 2018 is still accurate (clean seasonal park with many permanent "homes" and RVs). Getting into sites is tight but as it was early November, the section where we stayed was fairly vacant of RVs so we used the sites across the way to be able to back our 32' TT into our grass site that had a concrete patio and picnic table (our friends were able to get a concrete pad site for 2 nights). Our rate reflects an "average" of a combination of "discounts"...a weekly rate that was then changed to 6 nights of Passport America, and 2 extra nights at the basic rate as we had to extend our 7-day stay due to Tropical Storm Eta.
Roads are narrow (one RV width), there is a pool (didn't use), an enclosed dog "park" (3 dogs were inside by themselves one day when I walked by with people play pickleball nearby), and our siute was close to onsite laundry (great rate) and showers (hubby liked them). Also close to shopping (Walmart, Trader Joes, Publix), beautiful Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park (great shelling beach with dolphins), and walking distance to a great brewery and greek restaurant. Friendly staff, residents, and quiet at night. Most roads had lots of standing water after TS came through. Park Wifi worked good (had to provide name and email address). Check-in area is only large enough for one rig so others had to wait out on the road.
Only complaint about our site 175 is the electrical box was at the very back of the site and sewer cap was about halfway back, meaning we had to use extension cords and extension tubes for dumping!
Would stay here again if needed to be in the area (mainly due to PA discount).

Rate is for 3 adults, full hookups electric and wi-fi. The office was closed when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but a friendly groundskeeper directed us to the box and got our packet for us. Other than 2 main roads the park roads are the width of one RV. Our site was all cement, plus a 4 ft grass strip between sites, total site width about 28ft and about 60 ft long. If not for an empty site across from us to pull into and then back our motorhome into our site it would have been a chore to park. Many park models, but we seemed to be in the mostly RV section. We encountered many friendly residents. The park is not too close to the main road but borders on an access road to a cement plant, it wasn't very noisy. No shade trees, self serve garbage disposal. bathrooms were up to date and clean. Laundry also nice and reasonably priced.
We would stay here again mostly because it's close to relatives we are visiting for Christmas. For longer than that, probably not. But that's us, it's an active 55+ community.
IMO, Bill would stay here again

This is a clean mobile home/seasonal RV park. They offer a very reasonable Passport America rate for a stopover visit. This is a 55+ park, but they do allow children for short stays. They did charge me extra though for having the children (without...I believe the rate would of been $18). The location is great, near the North Naples area and close to beaches. The downside is that our particular site was next to a permanent mobile home, with an electrical box near the curb, so it was very tight entering and exiting our site. Upon departure, we pulled out and simply backed up all the way down the street as it was our only option. In the end, we did not mind because it was the lowest rate we could find with hook-ups on New Years weekend.
