Speaking of fishing, Lake Murvaul is renowned for its exceptional largemouth bass fishery, with bass regularly exceeding 8 pounds. But that’s not all – the lake also offers some of the best crappie fishing in Texas, and boasts large populations of channel catfish as well! Sunfish enthusiasts can also partake in seasonal harvests.

Overall Rating

Gravel or sand sites, a few pull thru. Had elec, water & sewer. Good access to the lake and 2 piers.
Small store selling bait and misc. I got the senior discount, paid $33.
There is a tent area but they won't let an RV stay there. Big rig might be tight.
Lake level was high, the fish weren't hungry. Would have done better with a Kayak or boat.
