Bring 100 ft of hose for shared water hookups. Site 47 is NOT near level. Site 48 & 49 look pretty level. Quiet and wooded though.

We were in site 48. Small site but we have a small trailer. We shared a water spigot with a neighboring site. All of the sites in this loop share water spigots between two sites. Our site was a back in site. We were in Washegum Loop. Close to International Peace Garden which is worth a visit.

The cell signal was a bit weak and we could not find any local TV at night so remember to download your Netflix movies in advance if you are into that thing.

Well maintained and clean campground!
Northern boundary of the Park is the US/Canadian boarder!
Lots of hiking trails throughout the park, with great scenery! One trail takes you to within a few feet of the Canadian boarder! Saw deer, ducks, beaver, and other wildlife while hiking the trails!
There is a canoe/kayak trail on a lake that doesn’t allow power boats!
One place to see is the International Peace Gardens, about 15 miles to the east! It straddles the US/Canadian boarder and is well worth the visit!
Of course there is Lake Metigoshe for those who bring their boats for fishing, etc.!
Had One Bar Verizon LTE!

Stayed here 2 nights. Nice pull through site. Clean park. Quiet. No tv stations with just our antenna but not surprised by that. Very wooded. Nice modern shower with two private shower rooms in addition to the showers in the regular bathroom. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a week while our daughter was at the International Music Camp. We had reserved our spot right when the window for reservations opened as we were there over the 4th of July weekend. During the week prior the area was very quiet and laid back and as it drew closer to the weekend things started picking up. Not necessarily in a bad way just a lot more people around. The campground was full but that wasn't an issue and the sites are large enough to have your own space.
Our site had water and electric hookups and a very nice shower house close by. There was a single lane dump station that was a bit busy at checkout time Sunday. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had the grounds in great condition for the busy weekend.
The real gem was kayaking on School Section Lake, adjacent to the park. While Lake Metigoshe is where all the cabins and boating activity is at, School Section Lake was quite and as smooth as glass. We came across all sorts of wildlife while kayaking. Deer, moose, and coyote on the shores and muskrat, beaver, ducks, geese, loons and pelicans on the water. The amount and variety of birds just from our campsite was outstanding and to the point that I had to buy a bird identification book just to try and make some sense of them all! :)
Overall, we would gladly stay here again and have our spot already reserved for this summer!
