Overall Rating
Classic campground experience, we had a back-in site on the Schroon River. Good view and decent room between sites. The seasonal sites are mostly separate from the short term sites. We were there the last weekend before Labor Day and many families with children were enjoying the outdoors; riding bikes, fishing, playing in the river at the beach area. Gravel site was level and plenty deep enough for our 45’ motorhome.
It was about a 15 minute drive to the Lake George shopping and dining options. I was surprised that camping on the lake was very limited, but we were pleased with our choice of Lake George Riverview Campground and would return.
