Overall Rating

Easy access to Farmington and Aztec. Nice view from above the dam over the lake and valley. You have to call 48 hours in advance to get a reservation, though the lady told me it's also okay to just show up and pay at the kiosk, though you risk a person with a reservation showing up. Other campers told us that it's busy in the summer, as the lake has a swim beach. We were there to mountain bike and Aztec NM. The big RV sites don't have a shade structure, whereas the smaller ones do. All have a picnic table and fire ring. No shade. I didn't check the bathroom out. Excellent cell service.
