Great campground. Easy access to fresh water fill. 30 amp and 50 amp hook ups. We stayed one night. Went up to the bathrooms and there was a worker there who was very friendly. Answered any questions I had. Bathrooms are very clean. We stayed on site 28. Was relatively level not perfect though. Dumping was easy with a black wat... more
Great campground. Easy access to fresh water fill. 30 amp and 50 amp hook ups. We stayed one night. Went up to the bathrooms and there was a worker there who was very friendly. Answered any questions I had. Bathrooms are very clean. We stayed on site 28. Was relatively level not perfect though. Dumping was easy with a black water flush hose right there.

The solar powered aspect sets this campground apart from many, if not most, camping spots. The bike trails are paved, numerous, and great for an afternoon adventure. The online reservation system was not the friendliest and even with the help of the camp host we struggled. There is a $10 up charge to reserve and it is the only me... more

There is a $10 up charge to reserve and it is the only method they use.
#9 was very level and the 50amp was needs for air conditioning.
The family of cranes were a delight.

Stayed here 3 nights the first time liked it so well come back and stayed 4 more. We like to ride our bikes and ‘this one is right on the paved bike trail that goes for miles and close enough to Walmart and restaurants can be there in 5 minutes

I booked my reservation online late in the day for the same day and arrived after dark. The campground & site were easy to find, even at night. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. It was about 1/3 occupied when I arrived. I had chosen my site when I booked, it was near the restrooms (which were very clean). The showers were very nice, each shower was in it’s own room with locking doors. I was concerned about noise in the morning because I was also near the water supply for RV’s, but it remained quiet and peaceful. I didn’t use the Disc Golf course or the walking trail, but they were also well maintained. I highly recommend this little campground if you are passing through.

We needed an overnight while traveling and decided to check this place out. Very glad we did. Helpful Camp Host got us checked into Site 33 (non electric). Excellent bike trails right from the park.
Some minor aircraft noise but not enough to cause problems.

Level crushed rock sites with electric. Water at several spigots throughout the campground and dump station on the way out.
Abundant wildlife in the area. There are significant wetlands in the surrounding area, so I can imagine mosquitos may be in abundant supply cat certain times of the year.
Chuck, the camp host, was friendly, accommodating and a wealth of knowledge.
