While they know their typical occupancy, I would not rely on a reservation too far in advance. The best way is to message them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Lapalaparvcamp/ The problem, I suspect, is that they are subject to a long-term rental coming in... a Snow Bird looking to stay the winter. It's hard to turn down a 3-4 month rental for a weekend. However, message them, and if you don't get the place you want, try one of the others nearby. We loved this place! There may be roaming dogs, but I think they are cared for by some locals... (Not La Palapa)... who lets them go free.
