Kumsheen Rafting Resort

Office is Closed Tues-Weds, we arrived late Weds afternoon & backed into a site with some difficulty. Will check in tomorrow. No hook ups. Washroom in lower floor of main Bldg is very nice. Not Handicap Accessible, but large double shower with no curb May work for some. The shower Wall tiles are rough so my portable suction grab bars won’t stick.
Campground has pit toilets also, but they are small, no grab bars, and elevated so not wheel chair accessible.

Provincial campground was closed due to wildfires several years ago (not listed on website) and took a chance after 400 miles of driving.

Narrow roads with low overhanging trees lead me to believe they’re either not ready for big rigs or don’t get too many. Only five RV sites, all the rest are tents and yurts.

Sites are angled uphill so it was challenging to back my 37’ fifth wheel in, luckily there was enough room in front to maneuver. Sites have 30amp power only, no water or sewer but they have fresh potable water available.

Beautiful views of the Thompson River and the east/west Canadian Pacific Railway on both sides of the river.

This is a white water rafting resort and it’s the perfect setting for it.

Pool, restaurant and hot tub are a plus.
