Easy access, paved sites, full hookups, super clean, not far from downtown and convenient to shopping/grocery etc. Most fairgrounds are dusty, gravel, grass, and hard to level. This place puts them all to shame. Only downside was no shade.

Wow! This was probably the nicest fairground we have ever stayed in! The Park doesn’t have many sites, but they are all asphalt with a picnic table on gravel and amazing green grass all around the sites and central areas. Most sites are back in, but there are a few pull-throughs. The sites are spread very far apart, so no close neighbors! All the sites have full hookups, with 50 amp.
The Park has online registration, which is easy to navigate, and Park hosts are available.
There is a nice, new bathhouse and bathrooms, but no laundry facilities.
The Park is very conveniently located a few blocks off Highway 95, and there is a dump station next door.
Be careful when navigating to the RV park, not the actual fairgrounds. They are next to each other but with different entrances.
Limited to 14 day stay, and not available during their Fair events, but definitely on our list of coming back to visit while in northern Idaho.

Our kids loved riding scooters around the park, and walking to the fairgrounds to view the weekend shows. The hosts were also really sweet with our kids, and very friendly and helpful with us, giving us lots of recommendations for things to see and do in the area. We also loved that the showers are clean and hot. We would definitely return on our next trip to the area!

I walked over to say and “hi” and got an earful of “do I know I’m early, didn’t I read the sign when I came in, blah blah blah.” I apologized and offered to wait outside the park until it was time. But he continued to chastise me and ended with “you are already here so just go ahead” and jumped on the golf cart and left. Whew. Weird way to begin a stay of 4 days. Biggest bummer- our site was next to his. 😬 Figured out my watch didn’t update as we just crossed over from Montana so I was an hour and 15 minutes early. Oops. Still didn’t appreciate the tone as I’m a nice grandmother. Then I read the other reviews and panicked because there was little pieces of trash around and I was worried he would think it was from me. I never sat outside my rig. If you want an inexpensive stay while in Coeur d’Alene, this is the place. Choose a site closer to the showers away from Host! 😁

The host was very pleasant and showed obvious pride in the campground. The wifi was good and the Verizon cell reception was 3 bars. Full hook-ups and showers. It was a convenient place to stop, clean-up, stock-up, and shop before heading out to dry camp for several days. I have nothing but good to say about Coeur d'Alene and this campground.

10/15-17/2023. Contrary to some of the other opinions expressed here, both hosts were extremely helpful and very nice. The grounds have been updated since the 2019 reviews and it is entirely paved. The sites are spacious. Some site have a bit of slope, lifts and blocks can even out your rig. The Wi-Fi access is great throughout the park with boosters all around. It’s one of the strongest Wi-Fi’s we’ve ever experienced. The bathrooms are clean but the mirrors are metal and they don’t reflect distinctly. The showers are separate from the bathroom and are very clean.
It is behind a high school. That’s fine as the kids are not noisy but the class bell and announcements do interrupt periodically. There is a county run dump station on the other side and lots of RVs go by to use that facility. The main road (Dalton Ave) is heavily travelled during the day. All is quite at night when we expect it to be quiet.
It is a ways off the freeway but worth the effort for a few nights stay. Fairgrounds often offer a good solid spot to stay when traveling.

Easy access to things to do in downtown. We visited a state park nearby. Really enjoyed our stay.

Previous host has been replaced with two very friendly hosts. One host has lived in the area for years and is vey helpful with tips about the area. There is no swimming pool because everyone goes to the beaches at the nearby clean and lovely lakes. The rate for a full hook up site is very reasonable for being in the center of a great resort area.

The Good: Spacious sites and great location with great shopping nearby.
The Bad: the camp host is very strange. We've been FT traveling for 1.5 years. We've never had an issue with the campground hosts. On our 2nd day, I received a text from the host saying "I picked up a piece of paper and orange peel from your site". Ummm, weird to tell us this, but we let it go. It also felt strange that he was walking around our site after we had left for the day. We are very clean people and didn't eat outside. The wind was very strong and the small piece of paper/orange peel must have blown out of our car, but I literally had spent 2 hours the day before cleaning our car from top to bottom. We would see the host awkwardly drive past in his golf-kart and we felt as though we were being watched. It was the weirdest thing!
Checkout was at 11 am. At 10:30 am, I left to run a couple of very short errands as my husband finished packing up to make sure we'd leave by 11. As soon as I left, the camp host texted me "just getting gas, right?". He has no business knowing where I am going! I pull in at 10:55 am and the camp host has left the lawn mower on our site and has his wagon parked just outside with a broom and trash can to clean. I understand wanting to make sure the site is ready for the next guests, but with the combination of the other strange encounters during our stay, this felt over the top! He has a 3-hour window before check-in. As soon as we pulled out of our site before we even made the first turn in the campground, he was already walking over to our site.
It was SO BIZARRE! If you are okay knowing the camp host is constantly watching you and you don't mind feeling as though you are walking on eggshells, it's a great spot. Our stay could have felt amazing with different camp hosts.

Upon my arrival in just the first three minutes I was verbally assaulted by my less then desirable camp hosts. I finally had to stop that show and make it abundantly clear I didn't pay $109 for 2 days to be treated like someone's dirty laundry. At the end of which my lovely hostess proclaimed "I can have you f'ing evicted". Now we were aware WA State had those oversized murder hornets but didn't realize they had crossed into Idaho.
I thought "evicted" a strange term for someone with limited vocabulary and customer service skills to match. The park had no apparent permanent residents and a max stay of 14 days. So I did a little digging. There sits that same verbage redundantly repeated, once in paragraph form and directly below that paragraph as a bullet point on the web page, which you can not get to from their main page because the web admin is also apparently a novice at the job too and renamed the RV Park page but didn't update the main page links.
Maybe you wouldn't have to evict anyone if you greeted them with the courtesy one might use on something like, lets say, a paying customer.
Another thing that should make you go hmm. Notice when you checkout online, they have a some legalese that proclaims they do not guarantee your site will be available.
We've been camping full-time 4 years now and have never seen an eviction threat or a non-guaranteed reservation system (screenshots posted). Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode with the rental car. Just not as funny.

It appears that the RV Park here is being redone. We drove by and saw the entire area under construction with signs posting saying opening Aug 17th (in time for the fair). They’ve still got a lot of work to do in less than 3 weeks.
