We loved the location. All the campsites are very shaded so no solar possible unless you moved your rig to the day use area every day. We stayed here after a cross-country trip because we needed to dump our tanks & take on water. They have a very basic dump station w non-potable water but no potable water that an RV can access. There are many water spigots around the CG but they are so old that a modern hose can’t connect to them! A CG employee said that you could buy an adaptor at a hardware store but we didn’t do that. We left after one night and would not stay here again.
On the plus side: beautiful shaded sites, trails right from the CG, friendly employees & a great recycling center.

I was impressed with this campsite! While some of the spots were fairly close together, they seem more spread out than in other Catskill camping sites. Our site was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There's a central dishwashing station as well as a trash/recycling room. Water is from several spigots around the site. We didn't partake, but apparently they rent paddle boards and kayaks for the lake. There's also a really nice looking playground.
We stayed on a Friday night, and things were pretty quiet (though that could have been because of the rain).
For what it's worth, I had basically no cell service with Verizon.

If traveling with a dog be prepared to show rabies certificate. Nice campsites, good showers, great dog park. The hiking trails were Rooty and/or wet so didn't enjoy the hiking too much.

KENNETH was a smaller campground that felt perfect for us. Private sites (not all, but many), clean bathrooms & showers and very friendly staff. There is no swimming currently on the lakes, but you can rent canoes/kayaks to fish or paddle around. The views from the day-use area is fantastic. We camped there for 4 nights a few weeks ago and we enjoyed all aspects.
Inside the park are four very easy hiking trails all around 1 mile in length. All of them were pleasant trips, especially the nature trail and blue trail. As you walk along the trails you constantly see or pass over the old rock walls that can be found throughout the Catskills.
Weekdays, the park was at a low capacity, weekends definitely picked up, but it was still very quiet and never loud beyond 10pm. Great place to visit and we shall definitely return.

This was an overnight stop on our way to Maryland. This is our first experience of dry camping and it wasn’t that bad. The state park is well maintained and manicured. Beautiful vistas and small lake. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and water across from the site. There were some negatives. We made our reservation online, we were charged for being out of state and a $9.00 service fee. In total we paid $35.00. There is no cell service. Overall, we loved this gem. We will come back.

Large shaded sites. Rangers do a pretty good job of ensuring the quiet period is adhered to. Bathrooms are very clean. If you have children great open field area for them to play. Highly recommend this camp site. If you are looking for a party area this is not the camp for you.

They don't allow you to bring your own firewood, but they make it easy to buy wood at the front booth area. The firepits are built-out concrete structures, not just a circle lined with stones. One of the thick iron grills above the firepit was badly mangled at one of the sites, but it didn't affect us too much.
They seem to keep a tight leash on noise, as the folks in a pop-up camper near us had turned down their music after a visit by management. It wasn't even 4pm, yet.

Lots of nice rv campsites. Picnic tables and stone barbecues, flush toilets, showers, water within 150 ft of each site, dump station, garbage and recycling storage. Lots of big trees thus no cell service. l

If i could rate this place less than 1 star i would, i would never recommend this place to anyone. I drove 3 hours from long island because the reviews and the photos i had seen. Showed up at 12:15 and left by 1:45 and rather drive for another 3 hours then stay there for the night. I have been to campgrounds all over the states and i have never been so disgusted with how the sites look. The site i picked was so small and the trees were so over grown everywhere, which made it so hard to enjoy because your constantly ducking branches. I only came with one other and myself and i felt the camp site was way to small, how could i ever have brought more friends. I'm not one to write a negative review but i wish i read this from someone else before i decided to waste a vacation day driving 3 hours to this shit hole. This place is not what it is advertised to be and it was a very disappointing trip.
