Although some people look like they have stayed way longer than the max 14 days. Sites close together with sand and dirt, rv parking.. Except on the ends, they had lots of nice grass … but, which are always taken. Full hook ups, 60 ft pull thoughts, , 25.00 a night. Right on the golf course and farmers corn fields. Super private, bike trails and paved walking paths. Fire rigs and picnic tables. I parked a 45 foot motorhome towing with no issues

Nice looking golf course and a pretty lake make this a 5 star campground for me.

Price reflects FHU site, of which there are 29. Special Note: this park does not take reservations, first come, first served. Price reflects FHU site, of which there are 29. Special Note: this park does not take reservations, first come, first served. (We were here on Monday/Tuesday and had no problem finding a site early afternoon. However, summer weekends tend to fill up fast, and we’re told folks come in and set up vehicles, etc. on sites to “save” them.) Sites are fairly level gravel with picnic table and nice fire pit. Clean bathrooms and showers. Golf course, playgrounds, trails, lake, boat ramp, etc. all in park. Fort Dodge also has an impressive bike trail system with excellent, maintained trails throughout the area and city. Park wi-fi was pretty good, but unsecured. Our cell service was adequate. Paved roads have no one-way designation, so can be confusing and some tight turns for big rigs. Most sites are fairly small but this wasn’t a problem for us for only 2 nights. Most sites have some shade throughout the day. (Had a problem with one of our bike wheels and Walkers Bike Shop in Fort Dodge fixed it quickly and cheaply. I’d recommend them.)
