I’ve stayed at June Bug twice now and it’s one of my favorite spots. Besides the price 💀 $22/night with no hookups, but they do have really clean pit toilets. I have a 21ft travel trailer and there’s a few places I could have fit into. I chose a spot up front and it was fine. But the road noise!! It was pretty bad. Overall though I lov... more
I’ve stayed at June Bug twice now and it’s one of my favorite spots. Besides the price 💀 $22/night with no hookups, but they do have really clean pit toilets. I have a 21ft travel trailer and there’s a few places I could have fit into. I chose a spot up front and it was fine. But the road noise!! It was pretty bad. Overall though I love this spot for the river going through the campground, and it’s in a great spot near Red River.

Although there for only one night, we thoroughly enjoyed this little campground. Despite what the message board says, this is a "First Come, First Serve" site; therefore, no option for reserving a spot as the other campgrounds down the highway. Although there for only one night, we thoroughly enjoyed this little campground. Despite what the message board says, this is a "First Come, First Serve" site; therefore, no option for reserving a spot as the other campgrounds down the highway. On July 7, 2023, we paid $22 for a single night. All these campgrounds along the highway. There were many great spots in this campground, we choose site 1 because it was one of the few available when we pulled in that could accommodate our 28 ft. trailer. Site 8 was a nice loop pull through. Again, many of the sites back up to the stream which was flowing really well when we were there.
The location campground offers close proximity to Red River, only 1 mile or to the east. We will definitely seek to stay there next time we are that way.

Great Stay For A Week In July. Camp Host Was Helpful. Firewood Available. Pit Toilet Facilities Regularly Cleaned. We Had A 18’ TT And Could Fit In Most Spots. Not Easy Over 24’. Fishing In Red River From Sites That Are On The South Side. Bear Sightings In The Area. No RV Dump, Water Or Electric But RV Park Up The Road Allows For $10. ... more

Fishing In Red River From Sites That Are On The South Side. Bear Sightings In The Area. No RV Dump, Water Or Electric But RV Park Up The Road Allows For $10. Had ATT 3G And Occasionally 2 Bars LTE. Stores 3 Miles Away In Red River. Williams Hardware Had A Good Selection Of RV Supplies. Enjoyed The Cool Temps In July. $11 a night with senior discount.
