We stayed here overnight while making our way across western Texas. The campground is a half mile south of I-10 along Main Street, on the southern side of the North Llano river, which flows behind the tents sites at the back of the park. There’s some minor road noise from Main Street, but you don’t really hear the interstate. Both the roads and the site pads are hard packed dirt covered with gravel. All the sites have grass on both sides of the pad, and most sites have a picnic table and at least one adjacent, shade producing tree. The tree next to our site (site 33) no longer had any leaf-bearing limbs, but we had the largest passenger-side yard in the park, along with a pergola-covered patio with chairs, a picnic table, a BBQ grill and two fire rings. Our site was a bit unlevel side-to-side, but nothing we couldn’t handle with a board under one site of tires and our leveling jacks. The spacing between sites on our end of the park was generous for a private campground.
The grass lawns and the open spaces on the outer edge of the campground provide plenty of places to walk dogs, and there are a few dog stations throughout the park. There is an enclosed dog park, but it’s a bit small and made out of 3-foot high livestock fencing panels, which a number of larger dog breeds could jump over if they were so inclined. The large tree inside the dog park was still decorated with holiday lights, and I spotted a solar-powered security light attached to the tree, presumably to help light the park after dark. I saw similar solar lights above site numbers and other small signs in the park, which was a nice touch because the only significant overhead lighting in the park is around the office building at the front; the rest of the park, particularly the last two rows, is pretty dark.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 18Mbps down and 7 up, and I had no issues with streaming video. The one speed test I ran on my 5G AT&T smartphone showed 29Mbps down and 4 up. Despite not being near a WiFi tower, the WiFi signal was quite strong, with 28Mbps down and 15 up.
The campground staff were very helpful. We were guided to our site and warned that we might experience a brief water outage as they were doing some work on the pipes, but if they shut it off we didn’t notice. We asked if it would be okay if we could stay an hour past the normal 11am check-out time (we couldn’t check into our next campground until mid-afternoon), and they said that was fine since no one else was scheduled to take over our site that day. And they apologized that they couldn’t refill my propane tank because their refill equipment needed inspection: hopefully they get that operational again soon, as I couldn’t find anywhere else in town that provides refills.
We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

George and Carolyn are the new management and boy do they make you feel welcomed! George met us at the front and escorted us to our site, and his wife Carolyn was extremely accommodating as well. Bathroom and showers were clean, laundry facilities work great. We will definitely return!

Location is 1 block away from I-10.
The check in process after hours was great.
The site was clean and ready for me. I arrived right at sunset, the view was great with the sunset over the huge hill/rock.
I would return and recommend.

Thanks to one of the previous reviews we knew ahead of time that the name of the campground had been changed to 10-83. We found it very easily and they had a great system to get checked in after hours. The lot was nice and level and we didn't have to unhook from our tow vehicle for one night. They have a little dog park which was good for our dog to romp off-leash for a little while.
We walked down to Lum's BBQ which is only about 3 tenths of a mile away. Sadly, they were out of meat. Seriously. Out. My advice would be to call ahead if you want to walk down there.
Overall, I really liked this park. I wish we had more time to go into town. I'd love to return to Junction, TX but doubt that we will ever be back this way with the camper. It looks to be a really cool little town online.

We stayed here 1 night. Drove past it, not knowing the name changed to 10/83 RV Park. We called and were able to be in the site within a few minutes.
Staff was very friendly. The grounds are well kept. Site is level gravel. Picnic table and fire pit available. Bathrooms are spotless. Very quiet area.
Would stay again no problem.

Easy access and very friendly folks. Sites are long and wide and generally very level. Best of all, you can walk to one of the best bbq restaurants in Texas. It’s called Lum’s. The brisket is the best I have ever had.

This park was extremely swampy and our whole rig got caked in mud from just one night here. There is nothing nearby on this long stretch of highway, so I guess that’s why they charge so much. I wouldn’t even stop here over night again.

I would stay here as an over night as the sites are easy access, level and utilities worked well. If you have Verizon you will be very limited as the service is not good. AT&T works fine. If you need propane, its right across the street at Junction fuels. It is a bit noisy as it it is not far off of Interstate 10. There is a medical facility close by, so you will have a helicopter buzz over for a medevac ever now and then.

We stopped here for one night as a layover when crossing Texas and were pleased with our decision. It was easy to make our reservation, easy to get to the park from the highway, easy to check in, and easy to get parked. Our site was gravel and level enough that we were able to just park without blocks. Utilities all worked fine and we loved vegging out with cable TV after a long day of driving.
We were visiting the park relatively late in the season, just before Thanksgiving, so it was pretty empty. Still, we thought sites were reasonably spaced and were definitely long enough to accommodate us without having to unhitch for the night. We had a shade shelter over our picnic table but it seemed most sites did not. As is typical for private parks, there is not much privacy between sites but there are trees which add a nice sense of nature to the park. The river runs right by the park. The highway is not too far away but we didn't notice any significant highway noise.
Since we only stopped for the overnight visit we didn't explore the area, but there were plenty of gas stations right at the highway and a few restaurants.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. Easy on/off the interstate. Interior roads and sites are gravel and red dirt. Either decent spacing between sites or very close. The sites are not arranged in typical fashion but are angled in many different directions. WII FI either worked or didn’t – it would just stop. Directv worked fine in our site. There are trees but none were in bloom when we were there. Verizon was 1x 3 bars so we could text and make calls. Have mixed feelings about this park – I think if they just tidied it up a bit it would be a nice park. It is on the river but not necessarily a pretty section of it. There are quite a few long term RVs that seem to be in one section. They looked neat enough though. There was some traffic noise but it wasn’t too bad. Not sure if we would stay here again or not.
