Great place and clean. Good space between sites. Didn't see any staff so can't review that. Arrived very early and did self check in. Had many sites to choose from. Bathrooms were okay. It was very clean and offers, water, and dump station. Campsites can be small and tight to get in. Our 31’ TT took up almost all of our site that was listed as fitting up to 40’ equipment. I would definitely camp here again.

We live nearby and this is our favorite campground when we need to get away for a couple of days. For travelers, it is well worth the 8 mile drive from I-80. Weekend reservations are a must for in season camping. Sites are electric only with many 50 amp. Water and dump station available. The loop with the playground has many satellite friendly sites. These sites are gravel and require less leveling then the loop with the pine trees. Pine tree loop is about 50 yards from the 60 acre lake. The lake has a one way, paved, 15-20 mph loop road that is popular with walkers and bikers. Note: The cafe, camp store, and boat rental are closed for 2022 as the vender pulled out last Fall and they have not been replaced. Travelers need to stock up in Annawan as soon as you get off of I-80.

This campground is in a good location, situated off the 80 east. Our site was a little overgrown with grass. If we came back it would be in the pine tree area, that area looked beautiful!
Our site was electric only. Sites were decently sized with minimal privacy.
We would come back if we were passing through this way!

I love staying in the pine trees for the smell of them and the shade they provide. when we arrived there was no one host on duty but about an hour after we got set up the host came around and set us up... i would not advise booking in the pine trees online many if the sites in the pines are a little low and would bet muddy fast the pad was like a U cut in the a shallow hill with gravel and dirt pads... many of the other pads were gravel. or paved and are very nice... the small lake is rather shallow and has the basics for fish, bluegill, bass and catfish. some of the sites are rather close together but from what it looked like if u were close to another site someone would not take the spot next to you. some sites were down hill to to a flat small pad so if your rig is longer you may not even it your marked as you will

The campground was exceptionally quiet.
Our stay was midweek in early October. Weather was ideal. Fall foliage was spectacular. It appears that much of the campground had been reserved for the upcoming weekend; our spot included.

Seperate area for tents. All sites 30 amp electric, no water. Dumpstation and fresh water available at entrance. Level gravel sites, a few all concrete sites as well. Low number sites are all shaded in tall pine forest. Higher numbers are in a different area and have more sun. Bathrooms with showers available. A few walking trails and lake area for fishing, picnics and boat rentals (currently only available Friday through Sunday). Town of Kewanee about 15 minutes away with stores/restaurants.

Only sites 2 - 72 open in April 2019 for RV (we have a small truck camper) A bit confusing to pay : at small kiosk some distance from campground. Honor system and winter rate is $18 with Electric, but water is from a pump. Bath house closed ; long drops open and well maintained.
Pleasant well groomed trails and grounds. We decided to come here instead of another one close by because of the maintenance notes on the others.
