Not exactly sure but it's nowhere near 30 miles off of I-40 as someone reported.

About 11 miles or so from what others have said and I can remember. If you are going to camp there however and have time you should drive south through the park and hit Pie Town - I did that based on a rangers suggestion and thought it was neat. It's just a little town with a few pie shops but a cool stop anyhow if you're not in a rush.

Roughly 30 some miles south of exit 89 on I-40. Just a hop skip and jump. Its about 2 miles south of the Sandstone Bluffs Overlook (great place to stop, too).
