Large, clean sites. Sites further back are quieter. Plenty of empty sites to choose from. Can access the Swift River. 7 min shower for $2.50

Very nice campground. Large wooded sites can accommodate most RVs. No hookups. No cell coverage. Very strict quiet hours at 10pm. You can buy wood on-site.
You can get to the river from the campground. You will want some water shoes. The bathrooms are clean-ish.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Nice mix of tall pines, balsam, and deciduous trees. Large sites, great water, nice restrooms and showers. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Kind of in the middle of the Kancamagus Hwy as a base camp so you can travel east or west for hiking or sightseeing. Yes, it is a little noisy during day from road traffic but it quiets down and night and is still enough to hear an owl hooting in the distance. No cell service and our site (69) had sunshine from 10:30 to 2:00 for solar. 😊

We enjoyed our two night stay at Jigger Johnson. With our national park pass, the fee is only $12.50. Shower facility was awesome. Our site (and others near us) was subject to road noise from traffic. Go straight upon entering campground (don't turn at 12-44 sign) for quieter campsites.
