Limited because the forest service recently changed the rules and you are no longer allowed to camp anywhere along the road. You have to camp at one of the designated dispersed campgrounds (all listed in Campendium). There are signs for each campground.

Depends on how long u are? There are no real sites per se. More like parking spots. Camping on the road is closed. There is another camp ground further down the road but the length is restricted. There is also a “campground “ on the other side of the highway. Both sites seem pretty full.

I would say somewhat limited. It really depends how well ppl park. Lots of spaces for vans/ smaller rigs. Limited for large trailers/5 th wheels. I would say no more than 3-4 but rugs can get in there at a time unless everyone are exceptional parkers. There is a day use parking lot very close that is very open and lots of room so potentially one could park a big rig there and walk a very short distance up the road to stake out what’s available before committing to going there. Beware there is almost nowhere to turn around after Javelina with a big trailer and for that reason and the condition/grade of the road, no trailers over 24 ft are permitted further down the road. I’ve driven it and that limit is generous. After Javelina it quickly gets to 4x4 territory with 0 turn around points on the road itself.
