Overall Rating
We stayed here visiting some friends we made along our travels. Nice, quiet, and the staff is friendly. **Only WiFi is accessible by the office--like going to Starbucks for Wifi. We used our hotspots.) No complaints on anything. Close by many outdoor attractions, but not a long drive to go shopping. Overall, would recommend.

Overall Rating
Nice new campground open since Labor Day 2018. Constant Improvements ongoing. Camp owners Rick and Lisa are friendly and overly helpful. Wealth of good information for the local area. All sites on gravel and fairly shaded. Basic cable and 30/50 amp FHU. AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile service. Nice pool with splash zone for kids and coveted pavilion. We stayed an extra day to explore some of the great local restaurants. 8 miles to Freightliner and Gaffney. Would definitely return when in the area. Stayed in 45 foot Class A Motorhome with tow

“MONTHLY RESERVATIONS BEWARE!!”

We NEVER experienced this through our 4 years of full time RVing.
Monthly reservations beware!!! We have a family emergency and had to cancel our one month reservation. When I called to cancel we gave them over two week notice.We gave Iron City Campground $100 to put toward our upcoming electric bill now after canceling it NO REFUND for electricity we did not use!

Iron City Campground also has a dump station that can be used by the public for a $20 fee. That was super helpful to me, since I could not find another location in the area to dump my tank after camping out on my land. The staff was very helpful as well.
