Nice, quiet campground, albeit a bit dusty. They are building about 10 new sites just south of the campground which are all gravelled and will avoid the dust problems of the existing area. I loved this place and most of all it is free!

We came to this spot May 25, Memorial Day weekend. Of course, it was pretty packed. Not overcrowded but we were pretty fortunate to find a spot. There are two well-kept vault toilets and some information boards. Everyone was respectful of the quiet hours of 10-7, so it was pretty peaceful, although people were still rolling after we got there at about 10:30 PM. This site does require a Discover Pass, which can be bought at many locations and possibly even purchased digitally, it’s $30 for the whole year or $10/night if you just want one. The Teanaway (the area this site is located in) belongs to Washington State Department of Natural Resources. DNR employs 9 cops for the state of Washington and one of them is very frequently patrolling this area, especially on holiday weekends. This being said, you could probably get away without the pass if you came late and left early on a non-holiday weekend but you would be risking a $100 ticket - but, hey, 9 officers for a whole state isn’t bad odds ;) Still - just get the pass and support public lands!! This campground is up a kind of bumpy road, but there were a ton of 5th wheels out there. Lots of sites were river access which was beautiful as well.

Not sure why this is marked free. About 8 signs that said "discover pass required" -first wrong info I've seen on Campendium. Just wanted to leave this so no one else would drive out of their way to come to this place likeI did. Also, 0 % at&t signal.
