The problem with this campground is the street that runs about 30 ft from the back row of the campground. It has traffic 24 hours a day. I can sleep through traffic noise, even I couldn't sleep through the noise at this campground Even the lakeside sites are only about 150 ft from the street. There is only about 20 ft between each site, like most private RV parks. We would not stay here again. This post may show up twice as i posted it and then couldn't find it when I went to search for my comment. The noise was so bad I wanted to warn other campers so I reposted it.

I’ve never seen anyone mow the same spot around and around our and neighbors on both sides. Dust grass whatever, no blowing off sites. The unoccupied sites across from us never got mowed. Confusing, wouldn’t you wait until vacant? BUT man do the sprinklers run, water pooling and road soaked. Just seemed ignorant to me. Fact unoccupied sites had longer grass. Can be said mulching cover was on put it doesn’t stop some discharge. Get him a zero turn. PS where do you get potable water when sprinklers run.

If you stay here you should try to pick a spot away from the bathrooms as the door slams pretty loudly.

This campground is small with only about 30 sites but i have never seen one so clean. You could eat off the bathroom floors. I had to search to find a cobweb. The showers were a bit low and I am 5’4”. Water was hot and plenty of it. Our site was on the lake with no hookups at all but didn’t need power as temps were excellent. We did... more
This campground is small with only about 30 sites but i have never seen one so clean. You could eat off the bathroom floors. I had to search to find a cobweb. The showers were a bit low and I am 5’4”. Water was hot and plenty of it. Our site was on the lake with no hookups at all but didn’t need power as temps were excellent. We didn’t need a fan or AC or heat. We also didn’t hear any street noise in our Class B van. Our friends in site 31 did hear it but they have a ‘flop out’ on their toy hauler that is canvas. The noise from the ski boats was more of an issue as we sat outside and socialized. The view from site on lake are wonderful and so peaceful. The sites have excellent green grass between them and plenty of trees for shade but not so much that our solar was shaded long. The ranger at the gate was very friendly and flexible as we needed to change our friends site to one with hookups.

We stayed here in mid Oct, 2016. This is a nice RV park on Hyrum State Park Reservoir.
- Dog friendly
- 4 bars Verizon
- No wifi
- The park was really clean and well kept
- The site spacing was somewhat tight, but there’s a grassy strip between you and your other neighbor.
- It was pretty quiet, only a little traffic by the dock with people dropping off/picking up their boats
Pros:
- Nice grassy park with a lot of trees
- Good fishing in the reservoir
Cons:
- The reservoir shoreline has some trashy areas, and some rocky areas that are a little rough to walk on
