Not bad- especially for price. I was tent camping, but there is plenty of room at sites for RV/trailer. No amenities- except for 1pit toilet- which seems to be regularly maintained. There are several hunts that occur during season- so it might be a good idea to check the schedule ahead.

5 others where staying here, everyone friendly and quiet at night. During the day there's a lot of atv activity but other than that great. Pit toilet, cell service, easy access, fit big rigs

FREE spots. No numbers. Gravel and sandy grounds, not really grassy spots. Ended up sleeping in bed of truck due to weather. Plenty of trees to hang tarps from. Close to town. Went on a Monday and it was pretty quite after dark. One vault toilet, no water or anything else.

We arrived late afternoon but there were only a couple of campers here. Easy access and sites are spaced apart and really big! I think a larger RV would be fine even though ours was only 22ft.

Wasn’t a bad place just was trashed and has some pretty low par people rolling through there.

I’ll start by saying we’re a family of 6 with 2 pups. We came in late and left early so I can’t comment on longer term stays. I’m pretty surprised there are so few reviews because there were a lot of people there. It didn’t feel super kid friendly and not by the park itself but by the people. There seemed to be one site that had a lot of people conjuring to party at I got woken up by people walking back to their sites in the middle of the night. At 6am someone came out and yelled at us for there still being an hour of quiet time. I get it no one wants to get woken up but don’t act like I set an alarm and told my two year old to work her magic. All in all I might stay again in the summer when kids are out of school and maybe a more family friendly atmosphere.
I do recommend coming before sunset because it was hard finding a site in the dark sun we thought we grabbed the last site but there were actually a few more sites open they just aren’t marked. Some sites are bigger and private some aren’t so again I think coming earlier to grab a good spot is ideal if you plan on a longer stay.
Outhouse was nice and big and fairly clean.

Mainly Very small sites- I wouldn't suggest any trailer over 16' long or any motorhome over 26'. No hookups- must be self contained, however, there is a pit toilet that looks pretty new and you're allowed to run a generator if need be, but I didn't see a potable water faucet, so make sure you've got water.
It's right at the entrance of the state forest, but outside the gated area. You can come in late and leave early. Traffic was a little heavy in the late evening but was null by dark 30.
Visited in mid-March and there were 3 other campers in tents. The road coming out of the city is very scenic. River with falls along the curvy steep road. Had pull-offs to let traffic by and several trailheads with parking pull-offs, so be aware of pedestrians and take your time.
I would stay here again (in my van).
