It states it is a holiday, but it did not have the amenities typical of a holiday KOA (arcade, jumppad...etc). It was shady for many sites (not ours), so that was a nice thing.
Internet was not the best in the campground - used our starlink.

The facility was well maintained and clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. The amenities however, were lacking specifically. The site advertised on the KOA app indicated this site had mini golf and an arcade, it did not.

Lots of other amenities. Reasonably priced.

It is a KOA so there are nice amenities. There are some areas that need some work but overall a good 2 nights stay. We had not asked for a specific site and should have in retrospect. We tow a 28’ trailer with our truck. All sites are gravel and ours as some others are not easy to back into. We would have asked for a pull through site but the larger rigs took those quickly. We were fine but wished the asphalt did not have as big of a drop off to the gravel.
A nice dog park along with the kids park. Brief trail around the sites and a pond with a lonely duck. Fun yard art everywhere you turned.
Grandpa’s Griddle on the weekend was good.
It was Labor Day weekend but no loud parties. Always meet nice campers along the way at KOA locations.

Hot Springs KOA campground is a fairly nice park but it is set up to be a layover park. The campground is fairly large but they have used every square foot of their property as a place to park a RV, cabin or set up a tent. The spaces are really tight and occupants have no privacy from next door or above. The terrain is very diverse and where we camped, we backed up into a hillside. RVer’s that were backed in at the top of the hill were able to look directly down into our site and able to listen to our conversation (if they were so inclined). From our site we had the ability to look down the hill into fellow campsites.
The dog park was clean and tidy. We were pleased to see that previous users had cleaned up after their dogs. The grounds seems to be taken care of and the area road noise is minimal.
Lastly, the roads are asphalt and very narrow with some of their trees were overgrown. We travel in a big, heavy rig so maneuvering around the grounds was a pain. Had a devil of a time avoiding scraping the side of coach, dodging the campers and their infrastructure.
The staff was nice and very helpful in making sure we backed into the correct spot. If you pull a trailer and are not very comfortable back it in, definitely get a pull through. With the really close quarters, backing into these sites are not set up for a novice.

This KOA is older and is situated on a hillside with some of the roads being tight for bigger rigs. We had a sewer dump at each end of our pull thru site which was very convenient since we also have a galley dump. Spacious dog park. Nice camp store. Friendly staff who guide you to your spot. Our price was for a 50 amp FHU patio spot.

Store is well-stocked for a camp store. Laundry and showers were clean and safe. There is a pool (was closed for winter). Roads feel a bit narrow and steep in places, but we were able to drive through in our 35 foot class A with no problems. Not far to drive into Hot Springs and enjoy some site seeing (about 5 miles from Bathhouse Row 😃)
