You can absolutely tent. I think most people use rvs cause it’s more popular in winter when it’s cold out.

Yes. There is a special area for car and tent camping. It's towards the back at the hiking trailhead.

Absolutely you can tent. There are many tenters when I was there. You'll have water but that's all the utilities you'll have. And they are not at the campsites.

Tents would be no problem. But, it'll be hot if you're going that way soon. Over 100 during the day and around 80 at night the next week or so. It's a beautiful area and very nice campground. Enjoy your trip!

We tent camped here last June no problem. It is quite a trek from the main area of the park, so unless you’re planning to drive through the Hole-in-the-Wall area, it may be a bit out of your way. There’s also some dispersed camping on the same road as the campground once you exit the park.
