We stopped at the gas station by highway trying to find out if the campground is open. Yes, it is! Only $15 for a night for water and electric (50/30/20). No sewer, but there is a dump station. T-Mobile and ATT coverage was OK, T-Mobile speed was 30 download, 10 up, ATT was 70/20.
I was worried about the train track but I haven’t heard a single train overnight (I’m a bad sleeper, I’d have noticed it).
It seems a clean, well maintained place!

A pretty nice little town park to camp in. Location is easy to access right off of Old Hwy 60. Located right o. edge of town so only 2 minutes to anything you need. Sites are a mix between pull through for big rigs and back-ins. Very little privacy between spots but park was essentially empty whem we were there so plenty of space between trailers. There is a nice walking trail and disc golf course. Bathrooms are average. Not very clean. Shower temp was perfect and good pressure. Electric hookups are old. At first I could not get the elec box open. Water hookups leaked, so I just filled my tanks so not to waste water. Park is right next to teain tracks. Train passed through a few times each day and at least one time each night.Ok spot to stay if passing through.

This was a nice little city park, and perfect for a stopover. Electric and water at all sites. A free dump station on site as well. There was a bath house with showers. They looked pretty rough but the water was hot! Right next to the train tracks and a semi busy road so there was some noise but nothing excessive. Sites are all FCFS and there did seem to be some people there who hadn't left in quite a while. There is a nice playground here and a 9 hole disc golf course, which my husband enjoyed playing. Cell signal was good. About 6 down and 8 up for both Att and Verizon.
