Reservations were easy on the Campspot (Campendium) site. Thereafter, every exchange was electronic (email or text). There is no office and I never saw a manager. The park seems fairly new. The sites are level gravel and all are pull through. The trees are all young so no real cover. There is one bathroom and for some reason they have a code to keep it locked (they give you the code but I assure you, there is no one else out here to use it). Amenities are few with a small playground and no picnic tables or fire rings. Camp WiFi is good if you are close to the center of camp but it did not reach our site (no response from management when I asked a question about this). Antenna reception is great with all major networks. AT&T had 2 bars 5G which was good enough to stream. The main reason to stay here is to visit the Raleigh area but the Smithfield Greenway is a nice bike path nearby.

Newer RV park. We stayed for a month for $700 which included $100 toward electricity. Staff were very friendly. Bathhouse is new and gets a 10/10! Newer RV park. We stayed for a month for $700 which included $100 toward electricity. Staff were very friendly. Bathhouse is new and gets a 10/10! Bonus was ability to get mail & packages at the office. Not many amenities but it had what we needed! It is close to Selma & Smithfield & lots of shopping. Another plus is that’s it’s only 1/2 hour from Raleigh where there is a Costco & Trader Joe’s. We attended the Christmas Tree Lighting in Smithfield which was filled with small town charm with Community Choir, dancing school performances & lots of community spirit. Also toured Civil War Bentonville Battlefield which was south of us. If we need a place to land for a bit in Raleigh area again, I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I speak the weekend here to attend the pickle festival. It isn’t much at the moment but the base structure is nice. There’ll be no problem for any size rig. Plenty of pull thru sites and some back in. I chose site B33 so I could be along the tree line and close to the latrines. Very minimal leveling needed and only because I’m a little OCD lol. It’s close to I-95 but far enough away you don’t hear the traffic. The latrines and showers are nice, large stalls and were clean. They also have a nice little pavilion but that’s it for now. There are plans for more amenities so be patient. I have Verizon and at my site I had 3 bars and 5G. They do have free wifi and it was good at my site (I didn’t have full wifi strength) but the cell data was a little faster. At the gas station on the corner is a Brothers Italian Kitchen, very good and would recommend. The Carolina Premium Outlet mall is just a few minutes up the road along with many restaurants. It is a nice, peaceful campground with lots of potential. I would recommend it and would definitely stay again.

The bath house is nice and sites are good and level, with great all in one lighted pedestals. Hopefully they will continue to add on amenities (mainly laundry & playground), but we would definitely stay here again, with great access off I-95 great stop to break up a trip north or south!

Solid wifi - it worked perfectly the first three weeks we were here then some connection challenges the final week, not sure why. No cell signal issues on ATT or Verizon. The owner and Angela at the office are very friendly and helpful. There is no office at the campground.
