It was amazing. Great staff, clean facilities, full hookups, Good Sam Discount, etc. It has long term but at the back of the campground and everything looks perfect. I think the short terms get all the pull thru s. Another plus. LOVED IT!

It was a quick overnight stay. We arrived pretty late to the campground, but despite that the owner was very helpful and accommodating to ensure we settled in right. Thanks Bev!

The gentleman who met us at the little office/general store was friendly and led us to a gravel, but flat, site for our 25’ sprinter in his golf cart. It was clear he knew some of the little kids who were biking around the grounds and had a nice rapport with them…ensuring they didn’t ride in front of the rigs coming and going.
The facilities were sweetly dated, but nice and clean.
I’d definitely stop again on a future trip.

We stayed for one night just passing through the area. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The store was well stocked. The pool seems older but very clean and was great to relax in after a long day of driving. Sites were easy to find and easy to get in and out of.

Super friendly staff. Campground was clean & very well kept. Nice pull through spot we had for the night. Would definitely recommend if you’re traveling through Missouri. Also… it was so quite all you could hear was crickets off in the distance. It was great being close to interstate.

Called last minute and thankful they could accommodate us. Very friendly staff, guided us to our site. Gravel road and sites in campground. All seemed level. Close to the Highway but never heard any road noise. Very quiet with just the birds!

We got a tent site for our Rooftop Tent with electric for $25 and the new owners are super nice. An added bonus is the pool and the little store has local frozen pizza and they have ovens (pizza in 8 mins).
Pool is nice, salt water filter. Bathroom with big shower stall was recently redone. Store has incidentals you might need for reasonable prices. Cash or card accepted. Will be stopping again on our way back by! They are improving the electrical and adding more 30A sites. Can’t hear highway.

We just took our grandkids here for a couple nights in our 36 foot motorhome. There is a row of nice pull-through sites at the edge of the big play field, which is where we stayed with FHU. There are also many shady back-in sites along the tree lines. I believe there are some W/E sites as well and a dump station. There are some full-time and seasonal sites that are nicely kept as well. There is a large salt-water pool that kids enjoyed using on the one warm day we had. Our grandson rode his bike around the grounds. They have games and puzzles for use, and movie rentals, firewood, and pizza for sale in the little camp store. There is a short hiking path in the woods, and it is only about five minutes from Graham Cave State Park for more hiking. The shower houses were newly renovated this year under the new ownership. We also had made reservations at Warm Springs Ranch in Booneville, MO, the Budweiser Clydesdale breeding facility, which is less than an hour from Hickory Ridge if you are looking for more sightseeing in the area.

The campground was too crowded. The sites were literally on top of each other!
I made my reservations 3 months ago! Still, I was told that I would be sharing my site with another couple who left their trailer at the back of the site, and we were supposed to stay where the tow vehicle was to park. We had full hookups, but the sewer line would not reach until I backed my rig to <1 ft from the trailer behind me!
It should NOT be like this!!!

Our site was well shaded and the breeze was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, having it all to ourselves in the early evening while we did laundry. Walking around the property we saw how the grass was well taken care of, the perrennial gardens were beautiful with fun whimsical additions.
Loved the handmade birch branch pergola as you entered the porch going into the office.
This is not a big commercial campground, but family owned and run, which we much prefer.
