The dry sites are well spaced providing lots of privacy. The Park has nice trails that connect with the Roosevelt International Park. It's a beautiful island with pretty views and Lighthouses. At this time don't bring chicken or eggs across the border as they will be taken. I believe it's due to an Avian flu. Bathrooms and outhouses are clean. I put 3 bars for T-Mobile but it's actually Telus.

An interesting experience. The electric sites were all in an open field and most of the sites were reserved by local people who were there mainly on the weekend. So it was very quiet on our last two nights. Bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. Very convenient to the beach and to FDR-related sites.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient for sightseeing. Toilets and showers clean and good water pressure. Vault toilets on the back loops. We needed to do laundry and the 1 washer was out of order.
We lost power around 2 am after a storm, and it still wasn’t on at noon. They closed the toilets and did not answer the phones. Thankfully we were checking out.
Would stay again but a little disappointed.

I camped here in July 2018 in a 15' trailer. The campground has two loops. One loop is unserviced and wooded and it was empty when I was there. The other loop has a big field for pull through rigs and wooded serviced sites around the perimeter. There were more people on this side but still plenty of sites. I stayed one night in the unserviced loop then decided to move to an electric only site. Unfortunately, after moving to the new site and unhitching, I discovered that the electricity wasn't working. The box needed to be repaired and the person who could do it was off until the next day. Another staffer tried to fix it but ended up taking up a lot of my time for no positive result. The staff was friendly. The campground is nice enough but nothing special. There are pleasant wooded hiking trails all around the campground and down to the beach, which is rocky and even though it was mid July, too chilly for swimming. The Roosevelt International Park is a short drive away and a must see if you are on the island. The island itself is small enough to tour for a day trip but also has enough to offer for a few days.

The site we stayed at was shaded.
Several pleasant paths to beach or Roosevelt International Park.
Relaxing, quiet camping experience. 40 of the sites have electric. Water is available at spigots throughout the park and we were not advised /cautioned to boil before drinking as of August 11, 2018. Showers were clean and provided plenty of hot water. Weather can vary from one side of the island to the other, fog may roll in/disappear in minutes! We had hiking trails and long stretches of beach completely to ourselves. Viewed whales, seals and eagles and ate great seafood! Great escape from the August heat!
No cell service with Verizon but might have some international service available for which we did not opt.

Warned to boil water before using in 2016. C'G is wonderful, clean and staffed by nice helpful folks. We stayed in the meadow as there were only a few RVs there. We were close to touring FDR's summer "cottage" and looking at all the things there that so greatly influenced his early life. Touring the rest of the Island was very interesting as there are several little villages spread around when local fishermen and loggers live. A visit to the lighthouse was inspiring as it is located a point that sees much boat traffic and has extreme tidal surges as does nearby Bay of Fundy.
This is a wonderful place to explore for at least a couple of days.

We walked to beautiful views of the Bay of Fundy, beach and Roosevelt Cottage from the campground. The walking trail to the Roosevelt Cottage was through a wonderful mature forest.
Given our taller height, we needed to zigzag around some tree branches on the island, getting to the park and within the park, but it was doable. The park nicely trimmed the trees in the dump station area, which allowed us to use the dump station when we departed.
