It included a fire ring, grill top, and picnic table, and we had running water about 30 feet away. Neighbors weren’t very visible from our site but we could hear them. We were next door to the restrooms but that didn’t bother us as they weren’t visible. Hot running water and showers were a plus! Campground is super clean and well kept. There are many trails, and lots of poison oak so watch out.

We loved camping here with our 25ft camping trailer. There was plenty of room for it on site 105, however if it was any higher it would be hitting tree limbs. Our site was private but easy to get to trails, showers, bathrooms. Etc.
if you have littles the roads are paved so a scooter or bike could be fun.

No hoodups, but not needed for most of our stays. We get by fine for a few days. If traveling alone, I can get up to a week before dumping and refueling. We did notice it was difficult to find locations that allow for dumping wastes. It may be related to Covid 19 concerns.

Nice shaded woodsy campground. Was able to fit with a 31’ camper. Poison oak is prevalent but campground areas and dog-friendly trails are wide enough to avoid it.

I understand the need to allow native plants to grow, but campground sites should be knocked back so families can enjoy the area. The only positive of this campground were the Jr Rangers, they put on a great program with plenty of activities.

Many sites are shaded, so if you depend on solar power for your rig, you should think about a generator (ugh!) as a backup. No hookups, but sites and restroom/showers are well-maintained. There are several trails leading off from the campground; most are not too demanding, taking you into some breathtaking redwood groves. Our visit was pleasantly surprising, and we would definitely return!

I think my shower cost about $1.50. The sites are dirt and a bit on the small side and a bit close. The ranger was very friendly and helpful too! They had some programs and hosted campfires going on but we didn't participate in them. Initially we went to the wrong entrance but there was a sign directing us to where we should have gone.

“Not Fully Open!”
noted 11/16/2022
Looks lovely, but while the website says the park is fully open, when I pulled in at 4pm after a day of driving (expecting to stay a few days) I was informed it was closed for the season. I was given a list of campgrounds in the area - all more than double the price!
