Overall Rating
Very nice, small campground with full hookups + cable for RVs. Well maintained and clean. Very quiet - no frills. Sites are mostly wooded which gives it a park like feel. Good for those looking for a basic campground with not a lot of extra amenities or resort type programs.

This is a nice park close to Kennebunkport area. The park is tree-lined and it is quite pretty. There is a gate so you will need a gate code to come and go. This is a nice park close to Kennebunkport area. The park is tree-lined and it is quite pretty. There is a gate so you will need a gate code to come and go. There are many privately-owned park models in this park, which were all well-kept. We used the laundry facilities and those were nice, too. At nearly $80, it is expensive for what you get.
Be sure to visit the Lobster Roll food truck down the street. Just ask the staff and they will direct you to it. It's awesome!

Nice campground,very well kept, modern and clean restrooms. Family owned and very friendly and personable staff. We stayed at site number 11 and had plenty of room for our 28 foot travel trailer. There were some bigger sites and everything seem to be well wooded. About a 20 minute ride to OOB...We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. No motorcycles allowed, I believe because it is right next to Bentley’s motorcycle bar..

We have come to this campground for three years with a group of friends. In general, it's a nice campground. Specifically, the owners could do a better job at their customer relations. Our first year, our 9 year old son was told he was riding his bike faster than 5 mph and the owner told us he wasn't allowed to ride it until he gave my... more
We have come to this campground for three years with a group of friends. In general, it's a nice campground. Specifically, the owners could do a better job at their customer relations. Our first year, our 9 year old son was told he was riding his bike faster than 5 mph and the owner told us he wasn't allowed to ride it until he gave my son permission to. We followed his rule but he never came around again so our son didn't get to ride his bike. The second year one of our friends went to hook up his sewer and noticed that the sewer pipe was backed up. He had the owner come over to look at it and he was accused of putting something down the drain that he wasn't supposed to. Even though he hadn't even hooked up yet! This year, which is the group's final year at this campground, four of our sites were moved. Granted, their website says that sites can be changed however, one of our friends paid for a full hook up site, was moved to a site where they had to share water and electricity with a neighbor and were then questioned when they used the dump station even though they had paid for a full hook up site and received only a SLIGHT discount for being moved to a lesser site. Guess what Hemlock Grove? You have to allow people to dump if you move them off of a full hook up site. It's the right thing to do! I'm glad our group organizer has decided not to go to this campground again. We love our friends dearly so we've put up with the owners but it gets worse and worse every year.
