I had planned on staying at a nearby campground but it didn't work out. By 10 p.m. I needed a place to stop and get some sleep and this location right off the highway was convenient. There was one semi-truck there and then me towing my 20' travel trailer. I stayed there June 8th when the high temp that day was 101 and the low at night was 72. I felt comfortable and safe although that train horn is LOUD! It blew around midnight and again around 2 a.m. I recommend earplugs if you're going to stay the night here. There are no restrooms, just picnic tables and garbage cans.

Overall Rating
It's a rest stop. It is clean with dumpsters and picnic tables, no rest rooms. There is plenty of room for any sized rig. The only drawback is noise. It is only a few hundred feet of the highway, so there is plenty of truck traffic. There is also a train.
On the plus side, we only heard two trains all night, and only one of those was after we went to bed. The truck traffic died down after midnight so it wasn't bad sleeping. We only had two trucks join us for the evening, and both shut down their engines. No other campers. For the price it's not bad.
