Overall Rating

We were passing through the area on the weekend, and there were limited options available and open - but we found easy online booking for a few sites here. And so glad we decided to be here!

Yes, the sites in the campground itself are a bit on the tight side. And over a weekend the park can be full with all of the typical campground sounds of families out bonding.

But the park itself is wonderful - onsite there is a grill, ice cream, pool and lots of activities. The access to hiking trails is amazing, with a moderate one to a waterfall even. You can even get into downtown on bikes pretty easy, which then connects to the trails along the sound itself.

We loved our stay here, and our site was pretty nice - backed up to a babbling creek.

Tip: Check your navigation coming in, Apple sent us to city hall, not the campground - which is a bit further down the road.

Signal on all of our US plans worked fine here.
