All that being said there is a ton of noise that starts next door at the lumbar yard at 7am sharp, the Coast Guard facility next door announces shift changes on a PA system and when it rained our site was flooded most of the day.
Make sure to check out local fishmonger "The Spot" for fresh seafood and canned albacore that will change your view on canned tuna forever (I bought 12 cans to take with me!)

So you are basically using the shade the RV next door might cast or what your own RV casts. Most people are inside big huge rigs. Managers friendly. Sites clean. Despite many sign not to walk thru camps, people are very lame and did. There is a logging operation on one side, it runs all day. There’s a little train in town tooting it’s horn. There’s a big parking lot adjacent, some van people park there for days and move van around. There’s a little bay and a pier nearby. Seafood at local take out places is great. Overall a nice but UV intense place.🙂

I started to book again for the following year and rates are now $60 and not guaranteed. Loved our spot #16 and was willing to book since we have extended family that stays in the Inn and found out that this site is being eliminated which is super sad because it was very nice. The other nice spot #30 is booked for the entire summer for 2022 and 2023!
Close to the pier which is fun and everything is nicely landscaped and maintained. We are researching the area for more reasonable spots.

We were really looking forward to staying here - the reviews from the previous years were stellar, and there didnt seem to be a lot of other parks in the area that had as good of cell coverage. We confirmed a stay and put a deposit down in Oct 2020 for a stay in June 2021. This week we received an email saying that the rates had increased by about 28%. Not only were we going to pay more per day ($70/night vs $55), the discount for long term stay was also reduced! (From $184 down to $175). Considering we had booked far in advance and had put down a deposit, we hoped they would honor their original rate. They would not, and we had to cancel. We were not going to pay an additional $420 for the same stay. We were refunded our deposit in full.

Site was level and all utilities worked well with easy access. Note that the bay front sites are designed for motorhomes to face forward, so if you're a 5er or TT your utilities are on the opposite from your rig and you share the yard space with your neighbor (if they're a motorhome). A couple of our neighbors with trailers were not happy with the set up.
It is a quiet and peaceful location - the steam engine train whistle three times a day is absolutely wonderful! Staff are friendly and helpful.
Walk to most places in this cute town including the yummy Parkside Cafe.
Park WiFi didn't work for us so we used our AT&T MiFi which worked fine. Satellite connected easily.

Our entire experience with Harborview Inn & RV Park, from initial booking to departure, was fantastic.
The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, learning our first names and greeting us in a way that didn't freak even us introverts out. They helped us get the lay of the land, rent crab pots, figure out where to buy fishing and shellfishing licenses, provided recommendations on fishing charters and restaurants... and did I mention they offered us free cookies? Seriously, the staff are one of the greatest assets of this place, with out-of-this-world customer service.
Next up on the list of things we loved: the location. The Inn is adjacent to the harbor, so you'll always see boats coming and going. There are several restaurants and fishing charters within walking distance, as well as a gas station and grocery store. With a slightly longer walk, you can easily make it to several bars, a city park with a historic and tourable train, a bakery, the post office, and cute shops. Hop in your car and drive just north to Rockaway Beach, which is arguably one of the cutest towns in America, or just south to Tillamook for larger-town amenities like big box stores, mechanics, breweries, and the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory. Come to Garibaldi hungry, y'all. Between the crab, fresh milk, doughnuts, cheese, fresh-caught rockfish, and chowder, we ate ourselves silly. The phone signal cuts out right after you leave Garibaldi heading towards Tillamook, but it picks back up within a few miles.
Harborview's facility is also pretty great (a few not-as-great points below). The landscaping is lush and full of flowers and thick, green grass. There's a great (although small) laundry facility with residential-style bathrooms and showers. The commons area/room, like the rest of the Inn, has recently been renovated in modern beach decor, and is beautiful. There's also an outdoor commons area with a crab boiler, grill, fire pit, and lots of chairs. If you catch crab, they'll even show you how to boil them. You can rent crab pots for $5/day from the office and walk them straight to the pier. Also, there's a short walking/biking path above the beach that leads from the RV park to the main road with several lookout points and benches for enjoying the view over Tillamook Bay.
The only down-sides (and these, we felt, were small): The sites for RVs are close together, and usually short enough that you have to park your tow vehicle/toad elsewhere. The laundry facility only has 2 washers and 2 dryers, and the office doesn't always have enough quarters when they're busy, so come with your own roll just in case. The harbor can get really busy on the weekends in the late spring to early fall, making driving around a bit of a slow process. The daily price is at our upper limit, although we feel it's very fair for the outstanding customer service, location, and amenities.

We stayed in #23 because it was on the end of the waterfront row, which was nice, but with a 21' trailer and a 19' truck we just barely fit. The other strange thing about the waterfront sites is that the hookups are placed for motorhomes to pull in head-first, which was fine for us, but it meant that our truck was between us and the view.
No online reservations - gotta call.

We parked our truck in another spot and had a fabulous view! The site was gravel, very level and surprisingly dry with all the rain in the area recently. There are a few shrubs around and between the sites, as well, but mostly it's an open parking lot. Each site has a picnic table. The bathrooms/showers/laundry room were the best we've ever seen. They provide towels and an ironing board. The manager was very friendly and helpful at check in. It was very quiet here at night, but there are bright lights on the pier and the trucks at the neighboring lumber mill started up at about 5 a.m.

Harborview Inn is a hidden gem. We stayed last Fall in a bayfront site that had the most spectacular views and mere steps to a secluded sandy/rocky beach that was perfect for kids. We are selective when giving you 5 star ratings but with this location, the amenities onsite, friendly staff and waterfront views, it's hard to beat.
Onsite they provide a fire pit with smores in the evening where the guests mingle and share stories from their adventures. Across the parking lot from the park is the marina where you can rent crab rings and crab off nearby docks. For boaters, there is a full service marina where you can moor your powerboat, or kayakers can delight in the Tillamook Bay.
It's important to know that the Bayfront sites were designed for RV's vs trailers so you may need to use extensions for utilities. They book up far in advance too so be sure to plan in advance!

I really love this park and this little town. I have stayed here three times now, twice for stays of more than a month.
Their sites are tidy. It can be kind of tight but it's not horrible. They give you great information upon arrival for stuff to do and explore.
The park itself is located right on the Tillamook Bay, in an off-the-beat fishing town. It is a gateway launch for lots of boats. You can kayak right from the park, go crabbing, fishing, and enjoy being right on the water.
It's also in the banana belt of the Oregon Coast. More sun than normal is here and the sunsets are phenomenal. It's a small town but there is a quirky town grocery store, a couple of fun dive bars, and great hikes in the area. It's also close to Tillamook if you need a major grocery store or other amenities.
If you're looking for a *bumping* coastal town, this isn't it but it's close enough to some of the hot spots - Seaside and Cannon.
