self check-in, quiet, peaceful, calm, there is a trail path and a lake.
Bad toilet, there are a lot of flies in it, no light, no water.
For $20 you can find better places.

The campground is small, quiet, and offers mostly very private campsites. Some are well sized for small and moderate sized RV and travel trailers, while others are more appropriate for tents. The sites and facilities are exceptionally well maintained. There are vault toilets throughout the campground that were some of the cleanest I've ever experienced. The flush toilets and showers are by the swimming area for the pond and are also impeccably maintained.
The site we stayed in was roomy and private. Almost all the sites were well spaced and private. The sites suitable for RV's and travel trailers are situated such that it is easy to back into. The due to the heavy rain and some flooding that occurred when we were there, the pond was closed to swimming because of high bacteria count. On the pond side of the campsite loop the cell service seemed to be a bit stronger. On the part of the loop away from the pond, the Verizon service was spotty with one or two LTE bars providing voice service, and letting an occasional text get through.
The area around the campground is truly beautiful with classic Vermont dense forest and gentle mountains. Londonderry, VT is close by in case you need supplies as are lots of little Vermont villages and resorts. The National Forest campgrounds are true treasures and this one is one of their nicer ones.

We camped on Site 1 with our 30 foot Travel Trailer. No hookups but water is available, pit toilets at campground but showers are available at the beach area which is very close to the campground. No dump station is available. We used our AT&T cell service with 1 bar. $20/night or $10/night with America the Beautiful Pass. Would definitely stay here again!

This campground is definitely one of the more quiet places I have stayed where I had to pay. My neighbors directly to the left and right of me were very quiet, but on the weekend there were some partiers further down the road that I could hear that were playing music and yelling loudly. There is enough space between the sites to counteract this, though, so it wasn't the biggest deal. There were vault toilets, no showers, and the scenery was very pretty. Decent Verizon service. Overall, it works well in a pinch but don't expect too much seclusion.

We spent eleven days here surrounding the Fourth of July Weekend 2020. The campground reopened after the CORONA virus lockdown on June 26th and we were there for it. It was packed and we had a few rowdy campers, but it was a holiday weekend after all. During the week the campground was less than half full.
Clean vault toilet bathrooms were spread throughout the campground, along with drinking water spigots, but no electric is available inside the campground. Free hot showers could be found a short walk from the campsites down at the pond, along with a swimming beach. There is also a kayak launch and an easy one mile long nature trail that circles around the pond.
We had a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area. Our only wish was that they had a dump station on site.

The do have nice grounds with trails, swimming pond that is very popular. $5 day use. Some sites have good amount of sun others are well shaded in the forest. Site #7 is a good site for solar. Had a group of 4x4 land rovers come in late running trucks, generator and talking loudly for hours, everyone else was restful of quiet hours aside from them.

In general the camp was a nice spot. There was also a small pond and sandy beach. Had the weather been better we would have stayed a couple nights. Our visit was short, but it looked like there was a bunch of trailheads nearby if hiking/mountain biking is your thing.
This camp is about 10 minutes from Manchester VT, where there are shops restaurants and any basic needs.
