Overall Rating

This is a gorgeous place. The staff were are super friendly! Lot size are usual for the beach area. Really nice picnic table. Bar and grill on the property was a nice option when coming in tired. I would have rated this 5 star except it is really tight getting in the gate if you are in a large rig. Would love it if they made the entrance wider. Maybe take out the large sign in the middle. But like I said earlier it is a really great resort. The pool and lazy river was cool and kids and adults will love it. They also have some beautiful tiny houses for rent too. I hope to come back

Overall Rating

We splurged and went with one of the premium "ocean view" pull through sites. There is a relatively busy road between the campground and the beach, so you have to take the bad with the good. The view is beautiful, the mostly shaded grass area and spacing around our site was amazing but the road noise was not insignificant. We made sure we left the AC fan on all night to drown out the noise. Overall, I'd say it was worth it.

The site was intentionally not level, for drainage purposes, but manageable with our levelers. The grounds were pristine. We loved the swim up bar and the lazy river. The bartender was super nice and the drinks were good. I didn't think I'd be as interested in the lazy river as I was, but I kept finding myself back on it, floating in circles with a mojito in my hands. Felt GREAT after a day of driving. Felt great the next day too :).

The laundry room was great, with app enabled machines, the restrooms were great if you need them. Everything is still very new so as you'd expect, it's all in great shape. If you need groceries you should go to the Rouses just a few miles down the road. It's like a mini-Wegmans.

The beach itself was really nice with white powdery sand, but the water was typical Gulf water... HOT and murky. Great for sitting or walking on the sand, but not so great for a swim.

If we're ever in the area again, we'd stay here again...Even if it's just for that lazy river and mojitos!
