This is a very nice park with great views of Pilot mountain. If you're looking for easy hiking access and serenity this is a great place.
Pros:
1. Easy location off hwy but not much road noise
2. Solid and strong wifi
3. Very quite with only 10 sites not a lot of neighbor noise
4. Good quality level concrete pads
5. Decent value for the $
6. Contactless check in was convenient
7. Bathrooms / single laundry machines were very clean and modern (note, locked over night only available during day time hours)
Cons:
1. Confusing directions. Signs on hwy tell you to take exit 31, directions from campground gives you different directions to not damage the property while turning into the gated entry.
2. Not many amenities. Dog bags were all empty
3. Parking was not convenient. I could not fit my truck and 35 foot 5th wheel on the pad together. When attempting to park sideways on the pad, I was given multiple different directions by different staff members and had to move my truck multiple times to accommodate their not particularly obvious rules around where to park.
Jess would stay here again

Stayed the week while working in Winston-Salem. Very accommodating owners. Concrete pads, 10 sites, great views, quiet, good water pressure, antenna TV Ok, WiFi good. We stayed here to attend a family event and we had our elderly mother with us. Concerning was how well she would manage especially since camper bathrooms are small but we had no issues at all. The bathhouse was magnificent, not only was it of Southern Living Show Case quality, it was very accommodating for our mother and very secure. The scenery blew us away, we had full view of the knob of Pilot Mountain. All sites were pull through, large and had a level cement pad. The utilities worked well, along with wi-fi, however there was no cable but digital reception was very good.
The host live onsite and are very accommodating in any needs that may arise.
They only have 10 sites, witch is kinda nice, but they stay booked up for weekends months ahead. So make reservations early.

“Rude”

This is a campsite in the middle of a field. Bathrooms may be nice, but we were unable to look because the camp staff was so rude when we went to look at the site to see if we wanted to stay that you could not pay me to stay at the 10 pitiful sites with rusted fire pits and disgruntled staff. Book with caution!
