The camp ground was clean and well maintained there are several pull through sites, a handicapped site and many back in sites. All with full hookups. Spacing between sites is nice, and are private. Some have tree’s between them with nice shaded spots, while others are in more open areas.

Believe the other reviews. History, a river, big campsites, wooded, and no mosquitoes in April. Love this place. Water and electricity with dump station nearby.

This is really important because bathhouse is very old and in a bit of disrepair This place is an Excellent value! Remains of old city of Greenville with signs for walking tour. Great walking biking trails. Perfectly maintained sites. Also old cemetery on site (I enjoy this sort of thing) with civil war graves! Fascinating!! Love it and would definitely go back here if I had a chance. Watch out for snakes—saw 3 in 30 minutes. Swampy. No mosquitoes when we were here in April- breezy weather but imagine they are horrible I’m warmer months.

We found this campground due to it's proximity to our route. WOW! It is awesome! A COE park, but with full hookups, 50 amp, and very well kept. Large sites with lots of green grass and trees. Verizon wasn't very strong, but our ATT was. This park is on the St. Francois river on the grounds of Old Greenville. Interesting history of the town, as well. Not many attractions around, but since you are in the Ozarks and near water, well..... Also, 1/2 hour to Poplar Bluffs, MO. Feels like a lot of "local" weekenders, lots of kids, and a great playground. Nice cement pads, too. There are some trails, also. Would definitely like to return!

Campsites were very nice with a huge concrete slab, fire pit and picnic table. Nice space for family / friends to hang out.
Noted 2 bars of cell service but on a full weekend, there were too many people for consistent service. Fluctuated between 1-2.
Little bit of highway noise but too early for leaves on the trees.

This park is what you wish all parks were like. The sites are paved and full hookups with plenty of space. There is also plenty do right at the park or in the area.
With cell service good enough to stream, what more do you need?

The campground is where the town of Greenville used to be located before the residents moved it 2 miles north in 1941 (when the dam was built). There is a memory lane with markers, signs, and pictures showing where the previous buildings were located and a 2 mile paved bike trail that connects Old Greenville (the campground) to the current town of Greenville. Also, the trail signage at the picnic pavilion states that the trail over the bridge and to the lookout is a “future trail” however the trail is there (the signage board need to be updated).
