I should have trusted the negative reviews on here, however I let myself think this place had improved based on the good reviews in google and the pictures on the website. This place is most definitely being misrepresented online. From the street this place looks nice. The tent camping area seems ok as well, but once you make your way back into the “hidden” RV camping area you’ll see something much different. As we pulled in we witnessed a resident dumping trash and unwanted household items onto another area of the park. The campsites are very tight and made up primarily of full time residents, most of which reside in old dilapidated trailers. We quickly realized there was no way our 40 foot trailer and vehicle would fit into our site, even though the website stated there was no size restriction on the site we reserved. Even if we had fit , there was no way I was going to stay there , as it felt very unsafe. My husband was even told by the host that “she hated living here.” I am baffled as to how the city is letting this place look like this (maybe they don’t care). Of course there is a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to receive a refund. I was luckily able to get a some of my money back after I told them our RV would not fit in the site as advertised. Such a rip off! Sadly, this looks like it could be a very nice place, but it is being mismanaged.

Needed a place to pull in for one night on a long journey home. We have a 45’ toy hauler, 13.6’ height. Could fit in but tight in areas. We stayed in site 17 which was perfect. Length just enough. PROS:
*quick access to interstate
*beautiful trees and views of mountains
*smaller overall campground
*electric available
*reasonable rates
*VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT
CONS:
*dump station closed while we were there (mid-March)
Overall we wish we could stay longer but was just passing through. Boys loved playing basketball and our dog enjoyed the trees and cooler weather.

I understand maybe the lower number sites maybe a inconvenience but sites 19 on up were alright. We were at site 20 and loved the spots for hammocks and the noise of the little creek in the background. Check out pictures we put up to see what we mean.

For goodness sake, do not camp in space six. You will make everyone around you upset and there’s no room for a camper let alone camper and vehicle. Spaces are very close together.
It does not indicate anywhere in the pricing, but when you go to leave, you will find out that you were charged another $10 if you want to dump. This should be stated upfront before you ever make a reservation.
There’s a video on the Internet that sums up the campground fairly well. It is obvious they are trying to do some grading and cleanup work, but they have a long way to go.

Stayed in #7, not level all uphill. Trash everywhere discarded rug and trash all around the site. Picnic table was rotting and falling apart couldn’t use. They charge $10 to use the dump station. Never saw the camp host. Will not stay here again.

We stopped here for two nights in April to wait out a snow storm. The entrance sign says to check in with the camp host if possible but another camper told us they were out for the day and we never saw them during our stay. A little pricey, $20 for a non electric tent site or $25 for an electric site. There’s maybe 10 electric sites and 7ish tent sites. When we arrived there were only two electric sites available and it looks like this park is definitely a permanent residence for most if not all the other campers there. The electric boxes were located right at the front of the campsites which made it impossible for us to back in far enough to get reasonably level. There are flush toilets and showers. The bathroom was relatively clean but very dated and awkwardly has curtains in front of the toilets instead of doors. My shower started off hot, ended cold. There also appears to be a pair of teenage girls staking out in one of the showers just giggling and gossiping at all hours of the day, which makes “getting business done” very uncomfortable. The park overall is very quiet, no road noise. And we had decent enough Tmobile service to stream Netflix. It was a convenient stop for our needs at the time but I wouldn’t stay here again. Too expensive for what you get.

Beautiful park with lots of trees. A stream flows over the road bed as you come in. (Don't worry, solid concrete base.) Small sites, I wouldn't come in with larger than 35', and only a couple sites for that size. 20 and 30 amp for most sites. Lots of tent sites. No water or sewer at sites.

There are nice hot clean showers, and you can fill up your freshwater tanks. This summer, the dump station has been out of order, not sure if they are going to fix it.
Next door to the campground, there is a very modern, beautiful public library with free wifi, conference rooms and cubicles. It has not been busy while we are here, and we have gratefully enjoyed the facilities. They even gave us a library card, so we can check out some dvds. How awesome is that?
