“Great Escapes Is Wonderful ”

We have stayed here many times. Even when fully booked you don’t feel encroached on by other campers. They have many activities from swimming to trailer rides. They like to keep you busy with organized camp activities but also do a great job respecting your space if you would rather not participate. The staff is organized and friendly which makes check-in and out very simple!
Worth noting: prices can vary depending on when you plan to stay so some daily rates are in the 60.00 - 90.00 range but football/special event nights can be higher.

Overall Rating

We are staying here for several months. The staff are friendly, and the facilities are very nice. The only negative is that a lot of the park is still under construction. Because of that, several of the amenities listed on the website, like the gym, are not open yet. Wi-fi is also advertised, but it is not yet available throughout the park; just in the common areas. Since this is a new park, there is not yet a lot of traffic, so it is VERY quiet. The nearest person to us is 6-7 sites away. If you are looking for a longterm place to park, this is located only a couple of minutes from Walmart and other shopping, but still feels “out of town”. The longterm sites are all at the front, so not much option there. The sites closer to the back are beautifully wooded. Would definitely recommend for families! Great place!
