Talk about going above and beyond! We greatly enjoyed staying here on our way further south. The staff went above and beyond. I cannot say enough about GrandStand RV Park. We will definitely be visiting again!

This park is next to 2 cell towers that service the speedway. 5G/ 5 bars was the norm. Also, clear sky for Starlink and satellite signals. This park is adjacent to the speedway. This park is next to 2 cell towers that service the speedway. 5G/ 5 bars was the norm. Also, clear sky for Starlink and satellite signals. This park is adjacent to the speedway. I paid $37 after veterans discount for a pull thru premium FHU site. Highly recommend it.

This RV park is family owed and ran. From the moment you arrive you are also treated as family! This was our 4th visit and ever time we come back they have done so much to improve park! This RV park is family owed and ran. From the moment you arrive you are also treated as family! This was our 4th visit and ever time we come back they have done so much to improve park! The bath house & laundry facilities is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and we travel FT. Great playground and dog parks. They are putting in a pool. Sites are level and are full hookup. And each site has their own fence area, with picnic table& fire ring. You are only 35 miles to Birmingham, just a few miles to Talladega National Forest, local caverns, museums, etc. there is so much to do. And your walking distance to Talladega Speedway! I would recommend this park to anyone!

From the moment you drive onto the property you know you made the right choice! You are happily greeted by the owner who makes you feel welcomed right from the start. He then escorts you to your spot and then proceeds to tell you about their amenities and emergency shelter incase of a tornado in the area. They have a store on site and ... more
From the moment you drive onto the property you know you made the right choice! You are happily greeted by the owner who makes you feel welcomed right from the start. He then escorts you to your spot and then proceeds to tell you about their amenities and emergency shelter incase of a tornado in the area. They have a store on site and they are in the perfect location if you are attending a race. We were amazed by their hospitality and their gratitude that you chose their location. Their park is immaculate, spot on, and if we ever return to this area you know we will be reserving here for sure!

Friendly people, beautiful campground right next to the Talladega speedway. They’re working on improvements like a shower room/laundry and getting full hookups, but it’s still a great campground! The owner really came through for us. The last campground we tried to do laundry but the dryer didn’t work so we had a load of wet clothes... more

The owner really came through for us. The last campground we tried to do laundry but the dryer didn’t work so we had a load of wet clothes - they let us use their personal dryer to finish up!
I would highly recommend this campground!

This RV park has come under new ownership at a challenging time. The pandemic has slowed some of the improvements the owners are planning but they have made much progress toward their final plan. This RV park has come under new ownership at a challenging time. The pandemic has slowed some of the improvements the owners are planning but they have made much progress toward their final plan.
Spaces are beautifully manicured and wide. Current spaces include electric and water. Sewer hookups are planned. When the sewer is completed there will be a bathhouse and laundry.
Current amenities include a great playground and a large two-sided dog park.
This campground is right next to Talledega SuperSpeedway and has easy access from I-20.
Most important are the wonderful owners. They are so friendly and so helpful. Southern hospitality at its best. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
