Fantastic place with very clean facilities. Lots of amenities like a pool, playground, disc golf course and spacious clean showers. Was very quiet at mynsite in the upper section of the park near the plateau. Wifi is not great despite my being thirty feet from and AP with no other rigs between me and the access point. Fantastic place with very clean facilities. Lots of amenities like a pool, playground, disc golf course and spacious clean showers.
Was very quiet at mynsite in the upper section of the park near the plateau.
Wifi is not great despite my being thirty feet from and AP with no other rigs between me and the access point. If I walk outside right next to the AP it works okay.
ATT cell coverage was excellent (-53dbm on my LTE router). Tmobile was spotty.

Excellent location just 5 miles outside of Kanab. Brand new RV park. Full hookups. Weak wifi but good TV signal. Very friendly and helpful. Would defiantly stay here again and will look into other locations including Moab.

We have passed by the Grand Plateau RV Resort several times going back and forth to Lake Powell. We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2020 and we now know this is the ONLY place to stay in your RV in the Kanab Utah Area. Staff checking us in was very helpful. We have passed by the Grand Plateau RV Resort several times going back and forth to Lake Powell. We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2020 and we now know this is the ONLY place to stay in your RV in the Kanab Utah Area. Staff checking us in was very helpful.
Big Rig Friendly, plenty of room to maneuver weather you are at a back in site or pull through. Perfect location for all you can do in the Kanab Area but you are not stuck in the middle of town. The views from the park are spectacular.
Verizon cell service was very good. WiFi in the park also worked well.
We are looking forward to our next trip to Kanab!

Overall Rating
This is a very nice park. They wonderful lady on the phone/at check in was so kind and helpful. We had a beautiful f/h site at the top. It was quiet and had dark sky at night. We would stay here again. We got our dish satellite just fine and had full cell and internet coverage.
