“So clean it looks brand new”

Overall Rating

Nicely situated off the beaten track, but with quick access to I-10 (a bit of a mess right now, but will be better once the construction ends). Road noise is not at all intrusive, and we didn’t hear any construction sounds. The campground is clean and well maintained, pads are concrete, and there are lots of grassy areas, as well as a nice pond and a “nature trail.” Most sites were filled during our stay, but it was very quiet both day and night, which we appreciated.
Entry and exit through the front gates is tight for a big rig, but do-able.
We were given directions from Galveston, and were glad we followed them. Taking the exit off I-10 would have been a real problem, as there is a very tight U-turn immediately off the exit ramp. Our 36-foot Class A would not have made that turn.
Definitely a good choice, and we would absolutely stay here again. Loved having free laundry!

Overall Rating

Needed a one night stay on the way to Arizona. We were able to make reservation online immediately before arrival. Site and check-in info were ready upon arrival. Easy access to I-10. Wi-Fi router was offered, but we declined due to plan for early departure. Park is less than 1 year old and extremely and well maintained. Back-in sites, but very long so we did not have to unhitch. The bathrooms/ showers are immaculate. Probably the nicest that I have ever seen. Pics are on their website! They do offer free laundry. Will definitely return.
