Driving across North Dakota has proven to be a real beauty. Then we stopped at a state campground that is up there with the best we have seen. On a lake with clean wide open sites. Located in a town with excellent birding and wildlife viewing. We can't say enough about what a pleasant state campground this is.

Clean, large park with lots to do! Friendly staff, we did not have reservations on a Trs night. Too many sites to choose from but 29 was a good drive thru for our Dish signal. Popular park with families.

Beautiful and quiet with plenty of room. Ziebach loop looked like a golf course. Stayed in site 17 for one night. Spotless restroom/showers. Would definitely stay again.

The road in is lovely and signage was great. We are here for 2 nights. The lake is beautiful. We walked down to the boat ramp and then to the beach. So many trees for shade. Good sites and lots of grass. Staff was nice and check in easy. We would stay again.

Amazing State Park! Beautiful grounds, lovely staff and spacious sites with so much green space. The electric and water sites are spaced out around a very large park like space, you feel like you have room to sprawl.

Have to echo all the positives from earlier reviews. We were here part of Labor Day weekend and although there were many people here, there were also many empty spots. It is very quiet. A deer was inhabiting our campsite as we pulled in. We will stay here again.

Prices vary according to services such as full hook ups, power only, power and water etc. there are two nice hikes of about a mile to a mile and a half in the park. A lot of bicycle riding through the different camping areas. Lots of birds but I only saw one deer. A lot of the people come to fish the lake that surrounds the island. We were here during the week in August and it was not even half full. Very clean restrooms and showers.

We tent camped this Campground on our way home to the east coast.
Clean, specious and quiet Campground. It was a-bit buggy but the lake water sounded wonderful to sleep well.

Like a lot of North Dakota state parks, when entering your loop if you have an outer site you enter the loop on the right side and if you have an inner site, you go left.
Our site was 120. It was located in a pretty shaded/treed loop. Though some sites in the loop have little to no shade. Most sites are also fairly private with good trees and bushes between sites. Our site was mostly shady with a little sun in the evening. It was completely level and required no blocks. Very spacious outdoor living space. Water/electric located on the driver side.
Water seemed good. We do filter through three filters and it tasted normal. We have Visible/Verizon and during our stay mid-week when the park was maybe 25% filled it worked fairly good for streaming.
